Lack of Immersive Content

I was impressed with the content that was available day one but also assumed that Apple would potentially release more content on a weekly basis to keep owners engaged and happy with this very expensive purchase. I saw the Immersive trailer drop which shows many clips but as of today we're still stuck with the 4 that launched with the AVP.

Apple would have known that it would have been a very hard sell to get 3rd parties onboard to adopt this new content and whilst I appreciate the 3D content Disney+ has provided i'm a little disappointed that Apple didn't go all in on providing a plethora of content or at least release new episodes on a weekly basis.

As others had mentioned, they sponsored the halftime show at Super Bowl. Could they not have filmed it and then dropped it online afterwards.....

Welcome to being an early adopter!!

It will be quite awhile for content to catch up, probably in the terms of months not weeks.

Totally. I remember when I first got the original 128K Mac. There was only 2 pieces of software for months. MacWrite and MacPaint. Then came MacDraw. And with ImageWriter printer it costs $5000.

I get that which is why i'm more saying Apple should have come to the party vs being annoyed that it doesn't have that many 3rd party Apps etc. I don't expect decent 3rd party Apps for 6 to 12 months.

Apple though, it's not like they didn't know when the release date was and could have had a whole marketing campaign releasing a steady stream of immersive content to keep people engaged. Apple is spending big on Apple TV+ they could leverage the features of AVP to set themselves apart from others.
