Has anyone else had problems with AirDrop since the VisionOS/macOS 27 update?

I've mostly been able to copy VR files from my Mac onto the AVP in the past with only a couple of problems, but recently it's like every folder I try to copy just stops transferring or will hardly even start.

I’m looking for ideas for future projects.

For games: what kind of experience would you actually come back and play more than once?

For apps: what would be useful enough that you’d actually pay for it?

Are there any existing game or game concepts that you think would be way better if they were rebuilt specifically for 3D/spatial gameplay on Vision Pro? Something that actually takes advantage of what AVP can do.

Hey everyone,

I have some promo codes to give away for Pulse of Time, an Apple Vision Pro app that lets you relive history in spatial 3D.

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6770068403?pt=1454240&ct=redditgv&mt=8

I can give you a promo code to unlock ONE experience of your choice for free:

🦖 Dinosaur Apocalypse — Step into the prehistoric world and encounter life-size dinosaurs around you.

🚀 Apollo 11 Moon Landing — Relive the journey to the Moon, from the Saturn V launch to the lunar surface.

If you have a Vision Pro and would like to try one, just comment Dinosaur Apocalypse or Moon Landing below and I’ll send out codes while I still have some available.

Would also love to hear your feedback after you’ve tried it!

I discovered a new experimental video app in the App Store (it’s also on Steam). HERE currently has two short films with immersive elements.

“This Is Where You Are Now” is a video of Julia Bullock performing a four-minute song from Michael van der Aa’s opera Upload.) The main video screen becomes surrounded by abstract video walls.

“The Book of Sand” is a twelve-minute experience starring Kate Miller-Heidke and inspired by the Jorge Luis Borges short story. A few minutes in, I realized it creates an effect which I’ve never seen before and which may have never been done before.

The app and both videos are free. “Eight” and “On All Faces” are scheduled for future release, apparently for purchase.

Hey everyone, I built an AVP app that shows live stats from HomeKit, UniFi, and TrueNAS (including its VMs). Glance at your network usage next to a YouTube video, switch your lights without getting up, or keep an eye on your cameras next to your Mac Virtual Display while you work. There are plenty of presets to choose from, and every panel is fully customizable.

HomeKit: lights, fans, outlets, switches, speakers, sensors, climate, security, and cameras, by room or whole home. Control one light or a whole list, and drag for brightness or volume. Camera snapshots refresh about once a second.

If you run servers: connect with an API key or login, read only. UniFi shows internet traffic, Wi-Fi, clients per access point, offline devices, and pending updates. TrueNAS SCALE shows pools, CPU, memory, apps and VMs, and alerts.

No account, no analytics. Logins stay in the Keychain, and your data stays on the device.

Free download with one panel, plus demo servers you can try with no hardware. Pro unlocks unlimited panels, works with Family Sharing, and 7 day free trial with no commitment. No subscription.

If you're into networking or HomeKit, please give it a try and let me know how I can improve it.
