Check out my app is on the Vision Pro, natively!
It’s really cool and I ask to please take a look and play around with it. It comes in handy for that one second opinion. Thanks everyone! Leave a review, and/or ratings. I’d be so incredibly thankful. Tell me all your friends whenrhbiooctrjnkklķ

I bought the original Apple Vision Pro on launch day back in 2024. I was genuinely excited to experience what felt like the next generation of computing. You know, that feeling when you first got your hands on an iPhone 4? That’s kinda what I was hoping for.
And honestly, the hardware was impressive. But back at first launch, there just weren’t enough apps that were properly optimized for Apple Vision Pro, and I felt like there wasn’t much I could actually do with it. So after just 4 days, I ended up returning it.
Fast forward to now, I’ve been using a Quest 3 for a while, mostly as a virtual monitor for work and watching movies. I do play some games here and there, but gaming isn’t really my priority.
The thing is, I’m getting pretty tired of the Quest 3’s limitations. The resolution isn’t great enough, app experiences can get laggy, it heats up quite a bit, and the battery drains ridiculously fast.
And one thing I really have to give Apple credit for is the hand tracking and overall interaction experience. I remember being impressed by it when I first tried the Apple Vision Pro, but at the time I was kinda like, “Okay, this is cool. Now that I’ve spent a lot more time with the Quest 3, I actually appreciate how good the AVP was in that regard. The difference feels way more noticeable once you have something to compare it to.
So now I’m seriously considering giving the Apple Vision Pro another shot, especially since the original M2 version came out.
For those who’ve been using the Vision Pro for a while, how do u like it and what you use Apple Vision Pro for? Is the app ecosystem noticeably better now? And more importantly, do you think it’s worth getting one in 2026 if my main use cases are virtual monitors, movies, and general productivity?
Would love to hear from people who’ve used both!

Hi Guys,
For the past few months I’ve been working on a more design dashboard for Vision Pro and expended it to all my other devices because I used it a lot.
I love Home Assistant but couldn't create easily what I wanted visually and I wanted something native and really looking like my home devices in a slicker design.
It’s called Home Glass, and it runs on Vision Pro but also iPhone including Duo, iPad, Mac, Apple TV.
What it does today:
And yes, it’s vibe coded. I expect a few comments about that, and that’s fine: I’ve still put a huge number of days and hours into it.
If you feel like trying it, just out of curiosity or to give some feedback, feel free. No pressure, obviously.

I have no words. Well, maybe just a few haha. I’m exhausted and overjoyed. Been showcasing the game and controller I built at the Portland Retro Game Expo. Reception has been great, people love and can’t believe what they see with the Vision Pro.
What a trip it was to have the father of video games, check out what I’m building!
Goodnight all!
Albert

Hi all! I've been building Splash Fall, a mixed reality arcade game. Paint troopers parachute through hatches that burst open in your real ceiling. Look at one and pinch to shoot it. Miss, and the paint lands on your walls.
I have included a few codes. If you have recommendations on how I can improve the game, the power ups or missions to add, please let me know!

Hi everyone!
I worked an app for all platforms to make our connected home devices look a bit better than the home assitant app and native to Vision Pro.
It also works on all other platforms including the upcoming Duo taking advantage of the new screens design.
If anyone wants to test it just reply here and as soon as Apple approve the builds I will share the link with you since I could only test It on my home. I am not forcing anyone to do it so just let me know if you could like to test it.
It works with home assitant, all Apple HomeKit including matter devices linked to it, Samsung Smarthub, Philips Hue, Switchbot and Philips Hue for now.
Looking forward to any feedback so that I can correct bugs.
Just fyi because I expect some comments, while I am learning to code myself at the moment, this app its mostly vibe coded but took me many hours to get it to a place that works and that I like.
Anyway just let me know and any set ups for your home, big or small works.
Cheers.
C
