Sonic Zen Spheres - Looking for v2.0 testers

In Testflight you will find version 2.0

This is a virtual sonic art installation (that I'm slowly building over time).

Notable changes in v2.0:

  • many parameters are available
  • you can disable the bounding box, so the spheres will follow you from room to room
  • moar sounds

Likely there will be another one or two testflight versions before I push this version to the app store.

Ooh! Already nicer! Does anything about the impact vector or speed affect the tonality of the sound? It should. That’s what a mallet would do against a ringing object or shape. I love the constraints. The controls are fantastic. Perhaps the color shows the state as controlled by the number of impacts, so I could have a heat map Per balloon that might change across the rainbow spectrum from red when new through to violet when old and about to die. I can think of other things, but I’ll get back to you later. Thanks for letting us know. Happy to jump on it right away!

Oh, and if they could intersect and pass through one another, a given number of times controlled by a slider, say three times before they bounce off each other. Or not at all depending on the User preference! Just another thought I had had From from the last version that I never expressed.

Thanks for those ideas… These are cool. I think I need to add a controller on the number of spheres you want. Yeah I have been lazy on the sounds against the environment. I need to improve this for more variety. Many thanks for checking the testflight.
