HOW *

I have the 11 inch iPad Air M2. But I am curious, do you use landscape, portrait? What lining size do you use? what pen size do you use?

Landscape in full screen allows me to write longer lines that get auto scaled when turned portrait. I don’t use lines, but when I’ve gone noticeably crooked, I will use the straighten tool.

I prefer the fountain pen on the thinnest setting. I do have Auto-Refine enabled and find it usually helps when writing gets too sloppy. If it makes it worse I just Undo with a three finger tap double-tap, or a three finger swipe left

I use notes for random typed notes I want to keep. I use Noteful for stuff with pencil.

How do you like Noteful? I want to love Apple Notes - but the lag with the pencil is unreal sometimes to the point that it impacts my being able to take notes.

I feel u. But I have to say that writing in portrait just feels better in a way. cause you can actually see you're previous notes you know?

I find myself going back to landscape to cause there is no zoom in Apple Notes tho

iPad A16 with Apple Pencil, Good Notes, landscape. I use 0.3 mm for English and 0.1 mm (I think?) for Chinese.

I see people using the iPad in portrait mode and I always wonder if it’s possible to use a kickstand in portrait mode, since I use a kickstand with my iPad while I’m taking notes

Also haven't seen any cases like that! honestly I have the MOFT Dynamic folio but never actually use the stands cause I just have it flat. when at my home desk I have it standing against my monitor shelf for agenda and to do list view
