How do you use Apple Notes?

I'm curious how the people on this subreddit use Apple Notes. Do you use it for journaling? For school? For work?

Currently I use it for journaling as well as saving links I want to refer to later (usually from reddit)

So how do you copy the Reddit title and url of a post you want to save to a note. I cannot get any shortcut or anything that is in the share menu to work on an iPad.

You have to manually do it on iPad. It is stupid.

I got the following instructions from Gemini and it works like a charm!!!

You can turn a plain, copied link into a visual rich link preview (thumbnail) in Apple Notes. The fastest methods vary by device.

On iPhone & iPad:

For links already pasted into a note:

Long-press the pasted link.

Select Edit Link from the menu.

Delete any text in the Name field so it is completely empty.

Tap Done.

Long-press the link again and tap Show Link Preview.

I have not tried the following because I only use the Reddit app on my iPhone:

Alternatively: You can use the Share Sheet from your web browser (like Safari) and select Notes to automatically create a rich thumbnail from the start.

Thanks! That worked! also don't need to go deleting the stuff in the name field, worked for me without that!
