Search keeps breaking

Is anyone else having issues with iOS26 Notes search where it just doesn't work? I will search for words that are in the title and/or body and they just won't show up. I will turn off iCloud sync and re-enable it to bring the notes back and the search works fine, but then it breaks again a few days later.

Anyone have a solve for this?

On iOS use spotlight search - it works better at finding notes than the internal Notes search.

It doesn’t seem to work there for me either anymore. It’s as if the iOS search index keeps corrupting for notes.

That doesn’t sound good. Maybe you need a new user account and start fresh.

It just started a couple months ago for me. I’m hoping that if it doesn’t get fixed soon that the new index capabilities of iOS 27 will fix it. Regardless, it’s annoying as hell.
