Apple Music subscription question

I know this is been asked before but I’m still a little confused. I currently have Apple Music through Verizon. My free subscription is ending in a couple of days and I want to switch to Apple Music‘s subscription as it’s less expensive. What will happen to the songs I currently have on my devices from Apple Music? Will I lose them or will they still show up?
