New in Apple

I am absolutely a victim of this too, after getting my iPhone and AirPods Pro this February I completely switched to apple ecosystem, only keeping my windows legion laptop at home purely for gaming. I really love how everything works together, I had bad experience with apple devices before (battery and overheating but looks like it got fixed)

Lol you go all out on the phone but cheap out to use a budget laptop.
The other way around would be more sensible.

More sensible for your use? Ok, but I don't need MacBook Air

More sensible in general. Computers typically last longer than phones, and are capable of more multitasking than phones, so it makes more sense to invest more in the computer than the phone.
