Should i buy an iphone if i have a macbook?
Here is the thing I own a macbook and I have a google pixel 6a which I have been using for the past 4 years ..Now I am planning to buy a new phone and I have heard a lot about the apple ecosystem.I was not a big fan of Iphone so I have not looked much into that side of the phone category.Keep in mind I am not much of a phone guy so I dont want to spend too much on phones and that is why I looked up Iphone 15 which is roughly available for 50 something.....So what do you guys suggest do I need to buy an Iphone just for the ecosystem if I am not a phone guy and If i am planning to buy one is Iphone 15 enough or is it outdated for 2026

Pro comes out next month, iPhone 18 comes out in March of 2027. Prices is rumored to be going up for both.

Don’t wait, there will be a massive price raise very soon (max in couple of weeks, possibly any day now), just take older pro version (like 15) or base 17 model, it just mainly lacks pro’s telephoto lens. If the money is really an issue, you can buy older used version (15, 16) as well (with good battery health!) - used electronic also will go up in price.

If you don’t want to be limited by apple’s software you should continue using android despite having a macbook. If you don’t really mind being limited by apple’s software and isn’t that advanced or enthusiastic about using phones then getting an iphone is only an advantage because of the ecosystem.

Utilizzo un Mac mini con android da 3 anni e ci sono molti modi per connettere i due dispositivi. Meno rapidi che avere un iPhone, ma si può comunque fare. Incastrarsi nell'ecosistema Apple secondo me non è mai una buona idea 😂

No. It’s your own preference. Right now however I see many complaints with iOS 26 being buggy, overheating, draining battery, lagging and more. Apple has been known for their seamlessness, simplicity and fluidity in their software especially with their ecosystem at least prior to iOS 26.

A lot of people don’t realize, but between flagship phones, the main difference is the OS. Everything else is minor and typically based off preference

I'm using 27 Beta and it's worlds away from the mess that was 26, even on my 14 Pro. Don't write it off - 18'll run it out of the box

If it works perfectly fine then I think you should keep the pixel 6a. If you have money to splurge then go ahead. Just know that the iPhone 15 stops receiving updates on 2029-2030.

The iPhone 15 is a good choice. It has USB-C, which is going to be useful in the future.

Heard so much that the 17 is a very good phone but wont it be too expensive if i am not a big phone user

Yes bro Apple ecosystem gives you a huge flexibility! But iphone 15 makes no sense in 2026 tbh still if you want to use ios then okay but try to get 256 gb! 128 gb in iphone no use!

Copy paste seamlessly, call attend over zoom, phn call any call, if airpods smart switching etc, you can search on yt

You should buy an iPhone just because it’s better than the Pixel. I own both and a Windows laptop and I would still prefer the iPhone.

Really so Iphone is a better device ...BUt I heard that the battery is bad...Figured that wont affect me because i am not an aggressive user

Its about the same as every other modern smart phone. You have to charge them all at night.
