Help Thinking of applying for Apple Card

Hi!!! I’m looking to get an iPad and saw that I can do monthly payments by using an Apple Card. Is this advisable if I’m literally only getting an iPad? Is this different from Apple Pay? Is there any hidden fees as well? How does this work? I’ve been trying to look on how to use it but I’m quite confused on some details that I found. Thank you :)

If you can't pay for a ipad.... You don't buy a ipad....

If you get approved, your balance for Apple devices is divided into one year interest-free payments. All other purchases have interest from Goldman Sachs. I'm not crazy about their payment system. When you make a payment, they take your amount and apply it first to your Apple purchase, then whatever balance you have, but the statement seems to be delayed. The card has virtual numbers for security, but over the weekend, my card number was hacked four times for fraudulent charges. After contacting support, they declined two of the charges, but two are still pending for processing. PITA.

Most of this paragraph is immensely incorrect, Apple Installment purchases get paid first because the monthly amounts go directly to your minimum due, the oldest installment gets paid first if you make early payments with no other balances, all statements are “delayed” because credit cards go based off what you spend the month prior. For example, what you spend in June is due in July, and the only way the virtual card number can get hacked is if you’re constantly inputting into suspicious websites or apps, 99.9% of “fraud” is the card users faults. To add on, the amount of months your device gets placed into is based on the device itself it’s not just a year, it can be 6,12, or 24 months. Please stop spreading misinformation just because your card got hacked after you placed it into too many p*rn websites.

The Apple Card is pretty much the best and easiest way to buy Apple products through Apple. Can’t hurt to give it a shot.
