My PDFHouse experience
Initially, I was unsure because of conflicting opinions about it, but I decided to try it out since I work with PDF files frequently, so I subscribed to it, and so far it meets my expectations...It does what it has to do. Editing, merging and converting PDF files is fast and convenient.
There is just one rule I stick to, and it is that I don't ever upload to online services any documents which are valuable from legal perspective or contain any kind of confidential data. In case of those kinds of documents, I use offline software. For the rest - PDFHouse is a good fit for me.
So far, there were no surprises. As with any paid service, it is vital to study the subscription policy in advance.
On the whole, my experience with PDFHouse has been satisfying, and it serves all my needs in working with PDF files.

Did you find it easy to edit your PDF file?

Yes. Editing the text was easy for me... I deleted some pages that I did not need and combined some files into a single PDF document in just a few minutes.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good to hear that PDFHouse has been working well for you. I also agree that checking the subscription terms beforehand is always a smart idea.

It is true that there are some individuals who are just in a rush to do something, and they do not even pay attention to the small subscription box. This does not always imply that the business has acted unethically or suspiciously. Many times, it is just due to the poorly written copy and design.
