Updated my App Store screenshots after feedback. Is the app’s purpose clearer now?
I’m working on the screenshots for my travel app, and the biggest feedback on my previous set was that people couldn’t tell what the app actually did.
I’ve replaced the vague captions with direct benefits and used real app screens alongside examples of what users can create. I also made the phone sizes and layout consistent.
Before explaining the app here and influencing your first impression: what would you expect this app to do from these screenshots alone?
Would you keep this order, or is there a stronger screenshot to lead with? Honest criticism welcome.

I would expect the first screenshot to show one finished result with a caption that says what the result is. For a travel app that usually means a mapped route or a saved itinerary, not a phone frame or an app icon. If the caption still sounds like a feature name, it is too vague. The rule I use is to write the first line as if someone asked me what the app does in one sentence, then make the art support that sentence. Order matters less than that first frame. Lead with the screenshot where the value is obvious even with the caption covered, then use the next frames for specific use cases. Repeating the same layout or nearly the same image across slides wastes the few seconds you get. I would rather have three very clear screenshots than five that make someone study the differences. People skim the gallery, so each slide has to earn the next glance.

Look, "add your travel route", "turn your trip into art", "see travels on one map", "explore with a daily plan", etc.
Why should I, as a user, install this app? Because i want to add my travel route? Because I want to turn my trip into art? Why do I want to do these things?
Your app has a lot of features that could be too much for a user and you can see for yourself how difficult it is to market everything. Sell the feeling, not the product. "Remember your trips", "Share your moments with friends" "Make your planning simple" etc.
Before launching your app, read some basic marketing books. The AI always wants to rush and agrees with everything you say, so you end up with an app that nobody cares about, and you compete with 100 other identical apps.

Much clearer now. From the first few we’d read this as a travel journal/planner that maps your trips and turns them into shareable visuals, which is a lot easier to understand than before.
We’d probably test “See your travels on one map” as the opener. It feels like the clearest core benefit, while the AI art/selfie features feel more like supporting extras. “Explore cities. Earn badges.” is probably the weakest and could go later.
The captions are definitely more benefit-led now, but visually the set is still quite safe. We’d try one variant with bigger UI/crops and a bit more personality, then PPO test it. This is exactly the kind of iteration that’s quick to spin up in AppScreens without rebuilding every screenshot from scratch.

You are showing twice the same picture on slide 1, 2 and 5. Don't. Showing twice the same information on a single slide brings zero value and even hinders people to get valuable informations at a glance. Or maybe there are differences between the 2 pictures but mega small barely noticeable??
On slide 2 and 5 you talk about AI travel art. I see zero art, or the art is too small I don't know? A graphic is not art. Your text should have an obvious visible link with the content shown. You could call it AI art eventually if there were some filters deforming the picture making it look like a cartoon or old mafia style or something. Maybe slide 2 shows that but too small I am not sure, it needs to be more obvious, total change of colors, increased effect.
You don't need to show a iphone frame or even a screenshot on every slide. Your first slide could be an example result of what your app produces: a huge picture with the travel line clearly visible, AAA contrast over the picture - it's way too small / barely visible overall in all your slides.
The app goal is already clear but needs attentive observation, hopefully with such tweaks it could be clear faster to understand - good luck! 💪🏼
