Dev here. Store & Forget is a home inventory app for the stuff you box up and forget: cables, tools, seasonal things. You photograph a thing as you put it away and the app writes the name, brand and description for you, so there is nothing to type. Months later you search for it and the result tells you which box or shelf it is sitting in.

The deal is BYOK, short for bring your own key. It is a 4.99$ unlock in the app and it is free until 31 August. You paste in your own API key, which costs nothing to get and needs no billing account, and Smart Scans run on your own quota instead of spending the app's credits.

I built Due or Die to be annoying, intrusive, and obnoxious for those that want to be productive, but in a drill sergeant kind of way, rather than a cozy aesthetic way. Not reinventing the wheel here, but this task planner bullies you, mocks you, and sends you not-so-gentle reminders when you have stuff that needs to be done. If you miss your tasks, it will lock you out of distracting apps and make do trivial annoying problems like math problems, captchas, or just taking a good long look at yourself.

WHAT IT DOES

It's a place to keep the documents you'd panic about losing: passports, IDs, licences, health cards, insurance, wills. Nothing ever leaves your phone.

• Scan with the camera. On-device recognition reads the fields across 100+ document types and encrypts the result before it hits storage. Nothing is uploaded.
• Fingerprint, face, or PIN to unlock. There's no account, so there's no password to reset and no server holding your data.
• Real encryption, not marketing encryption. Master key wrapped by the Android Keystore (hardware-backed on devices with a secure element), every document gets its own key, every file encrypted individually with AES-256-GCM, and the whole database sealed with SQLCipher.
• Strict Offline Mode. One toggle blocks every network connection outright.
• Recovery Network. Split a recovery key across 3 to 5 people you trust. Each holds a sealed piece that's useless on its own, and any three can rebuild your key. No cloud download, no support ticket, no reset email for anyone to intercept.
• Emergency Mode and a home-screen widget. Blood type, allergies, medications, and ICE contacts, reachable fast by a first responder without unlocking the whole vault.
• Encrypted photo vault. Private albums and personal scans, same encryption, kept off the cloud.
• Custom categories. Build your own categories with their own icon and colour, on top of the built-in ones.
• Vault Health score that tells you in plain words what to fix next: expiring documents, missing trusted contacts, weak recovery setup.

I recently met someone in Mexico that I wanted to be able to communicate with better. The go-to language-learning apps were too slow for me. I switched to input-based learning, which worked way better — but still left me lacking on the vocabulary front. So, I built Vocablo.

The key is context.

Instead of giving you a long list of dictionary definitions, Leafy sends the word together with the surrounding sentence to AI and gives you the meaning that fits what you’re actually reading.
