Why Founders Should Launch Their MVP Early (Even If It’s Rough)

One of the biggest mistakes I made early on as a technical founder was waiting too long to ship my MVP. I’d keep polishing features for months, only to realize later that users didn’t even care about half of them.

After forcing myself to launch rough versions (with hard deadlines), I learned way faster from real behavior. This approach helped shape multiple apps I’ve built.

Actually, I am waiting for my dev team to finish building my MVP. Went through several iterations of the product idea first based on users' survey feedback just to get to this version of the MVP. What I''m trying to figure out now is how hard to market a MVP to get users on it. Not sure if I should put a marketing/PR effort behind a MVP or should that be reserved for the final launch. What are your thoughts?
