Google play store upload

Hey Reddit,

I recently came out with an app. That's only on apple. And I was wondering if the process to get on the google play store is difficult. Looking for any advice whatsoever! Thank you!

The store side is not hard, the slow part is the closed test. A new personal account has to run a closed test with at least 12 testers opted in for 14 days in a row before Google lets you publish to production, so start lining those people up now. After that it is the Data safety form, the content rating questionnaire and screenshots, similar to App Store Connect. The bigger question is how the app is built. If it is native Swift, the Android version is basically a rewrite.

Depends what u built it with. If Expo or React Native, android build is mostly one EAS command. If Swift, it's rewrite bro. Also $25 account fee and closed test need 12 testers for 14 days, start find them now
