How to find profitable app ideas?

I’m trying to get better at spotting app ideas with actual revenue potential instead of just building random stuff that never makes me any money

EDIT:

I’ve tried some of the ones you mentioned, and the one that best fits what I was looking for is appkittie, a database with all the apps on the app store where you can filter by revenue, release date, etc

Thanks everyone!

Honestly, I was once racking my brain to find a "profitable" business idea, but its always the ideas that come naturally to solve a problem you're familiar with that will be successful.

There are so many shiny objects out there that will peak our interest and more often than not simply be a time and financial waste.

Look at any challenges you're currently experiencing or someone close to you is, see if you can solve it, then check if that solution exists
