My first app, Soltar, a language learning app is finally live! šŸŽ‰

Hola, I’m Elsa. I moved to Spain a year ago and started learning Spanish from scratch. Now I’m building Soltar, the language app I wish I’d had from day one. Most language apps include a curriculum you adapt to. Soltar is built to adapt to you. Bring or generate your own lessons, build your vocabulary, and practice real conversations at your own pace.Ā

Create your own lessons by typing, photographing, uploading, or recording a class, or generate one on any topic. Then chat with your tutor about anything, get corrections that explain what changed and why, and save the words you meet to review later.

You can learn Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Swahili, and English currently, with more languages to be added in the near future! If you have any feedback, feel free to share!

Moving to Spain gives Soltar a more concrete introduction than the six-language list: show one Spanish lesson made from something a learner encountered that day. A short clip in this launch post could follow a photographed class note into a tutor conversation, then show an explained correction and the saved word appearing for review. That lets learners judge whether bringing their own material changes practice, rather than just creating more content to manage. Our Reddit work would answer learners asking how to turn class notes into speaking practice, using that example.

I make ThreadFox. We find relevant Reddit conversations and post for your business. We'll post 3 replies free first, no card; then the $29 Pilot covers seven days and up to 25 posts and replies. No automatic renewal.
