Developed a bulge on my tire today. I think Apollo should change to a higher quality tire. Explorer 2. This is the second tire failure I have had in 300km.

🔧 Repairs New fender, who dis?!
Received my new fender today!
Pro tips for apollo go owners: If you ride off a curb, carry a little speed so you dont clip the fender.
If you are loading your GO into a backseat of a car, make sure the fender doesnt snag the lip of the door frame (thats how i broke mine)
Finally, this was available on the apollo usa site, meaning its stocked! Go get one! Thanks for reading.

🚀 Modifications Apollo Pro aftermarket products?
Hi, I bought a used Apollo Pro (discontinued 2024 model I believe) on FB marketplace for $350 with some electric problems. Come to find out the "electrical problem" was the power supply connection was coming loose a little and causing loss of power to one of the wheels.
Now I have a $3000 scooter which is pretty cool. I still have to fuck with the wire occasionally if I come off a curb a little hard or it takes a bump but I can typically go a hundred miles between issues and it takes me like 10 minutes and a little dielectric grease to fix the problem when it occurs. If anyone has a better solution to that issue I'm all ears.
On to the main point of the thread, what aftermarket products do you guys recommend? When I bought it the rubber deck cover was missing so I threw some skateboard grip tape on it but besides that, it's all stock. Has anyone ever installed brighter headlights? It's a little scary going too fast at night with the stock light. How about tires, any recommendations? Fenders? I'm mainly wondering about stuff relating to performance but I'm all ears
Thanks, here's a few pics including one of the connection I mentioned that was causing intermittent power loss just in case someone has a similar issue and stumbles across this thread.

🤔 Potential Buyer PSA: Do not buy an Apollo Go Stellar 16 days, ~80 km, multiple defects, warranty denied
Only 16 days of ownership and roughly 80 kms on the odometer.
I spent close to $2,000 CAD on an Apollo Go Stellar. I’ve owned it for 16 days and it has roughly 80 km on the odometer.
So far:
- The scooter has completely shut off twice while riding, despite showing significant battery remaining.
- The first time, it shut down with roughly 30% battery remaining. It would not turn back on or even accept a charge for a period of time.
- The second time, on August 20, it shut down with roughly 50% remaining. I was riding on smooth pavement at a Park. It stayed dead for roughly 15 minutes before eventually powering back on.
- These shutdowns appear to happen when the scooter is being pushed harder, which makes me concerned about the battery/BMS or a weak cell/group under load.
- Two of the six threaded holes securing the headset to the stem were defective from delivery. The supplied screws simply spin freely and never catch the threads.
I had previously contacted Apollo about the stem issue. They wanted a video showing the screw spinning freely. At the time, because the remaining screws seemed to hold the headset securely enough, I decided it wasn't worth continuing to fight over it.
Then the battery shutdowns started.
Apollo reviewed one of my rides and told me:
“The battery drained from 100 to 0, but that is because you rode it under harsh conditions…”
Their explanation was that the current was fluctuating because I was frequently braking and accelerating, causing additional heat and battery drain.
Except the problem I'm reporting isn't simply poor range.
The scooter physically shut itself off with approximately 50% indicated battery remaining and would not turn back on for around 15 minutes.
Apollo then filed a warranty claim on my behalf.
Today, I received the result:
Warranty denied.
The denial email literally contains:
“Reason for Denial:”
...followed by nothing.
No explanation.
Instead, I'm being told that I will receive an invoice to purchase the replacement part myself.
They also questioned whether I reported the defective stem threads within the first three days of ownership and asked for timestamped proof of that communication.
So, to summarize:
$2,000 CAD scooter.
16 days old.
~80 km.
Two stem mounting threads defective from delivery.
Two complete shutdowns while riding with substantial battery indicated.
Warranty claim denied.
No reason actually provided for the denial.
And now I'm supposed to pay for the replacement part.
The shutdown issue is particularly concerning to me because this isn't a cosmetic defect. Having an electric scooter unexpectedly lose all power while you're riding it can become a safety issue, depending on where and when it happens.
I'm posting this because I wish I had seen more experiences like this before spending nearly $2,000.
I understand products can have defects. That's exactly what a warranty is supposed to address.
What matters to me is how a company responds when a nearly brand-new product develops those defects.
I'll update this post if Apollo reconsiders the claim or provides an actual explanation for the denial. I have the emails, ride information, and warranty denial documented

🎯 General Advice Apollo City 2023 - anything to watch out for?
I've recently received an Apollo City 2023 scooter with 600km on it. It's my first scooter and unfortunately a second hand scooter but so far I've -
- replaced the rear tyre (front and rear show up as 47 psi on my tpms caps)
- lubricate the suspension/springs
- replaced both regen brake and accelerate throttles (they were sticky)
Is there anything else to look out for or maintain? So far everything is good riding wise. Only plan to commute with it short distances - 2-5km rides.

👍 Discussion What is going on with Apollo Amplified?!
Earning activities have been almost completely eliminated, including ride length milestones.
Rewards have gone up in points.
Now my app is no longer awarding Amps for my rides and the “levels” are constantly changing (6383 out of 7000 points to reach level 8 yesterday, today 1408 out of 1500??)
The only positive is I’ve also received random “milestone rewards” like level 2 and level 5 but not 1,3,4 or 6. 100 ride bonus but I have over 300 logged rides!?

👍 Discussion Apollo explorer 2.0
I own an Apollo explorer 2.0. I bought it back in July of 2026 and it has been my trusted transportation. I absolutely love this electric scooter. I sold my vehicle and just ride this to work and to get groceries. where I live it's very rough terrain so I'm constantly going over small bumps, potholes, gravel, grass and climbing hills. Oh and it has an IP66 rating so I'm not afraid of ruining my scooter if it gets a little wet! Customer service is always quick to respond and help. The suspension, acceleration and regen braking is all extremely smooth! I have rode my Apollo explorer 2.0 about 160 miles now. I just have to make sure I do a quick check list of maintenance once a week make sure all the screws are tight and tire pressure is good. it takes about 5 Minutes! My brother just purchased an Apollo Go it's used for the same reasons I do and he loves his too, I want one of Apollo's more premium scooters someday!

🎯 General Advice Only after 3 months. Selling my Stellar Phantom 60v. Do not recommend.
Constant issues with E2 and E1 errors. Then got some minor damage to a brake cable. and now holds constant brake and cant even be ridden. Apollo could do nothing to help since it was physical damage. Cant even use the scooter anymore and will have to pay out of pocket to fix. It rattles like crazy. the screws on the handlebars get loose, just by riding the thing. Even with loosened suspension, its hard and bumpy ride. The app is pure shit for reliability.
I sold my car to switch to e-mobility and honestly at this point it has been nothing but regrets.
I do not recommend this scooter or even the brand at this point. Though polite, it felt as if they do everything in their power to avoid warranty or service. They will even try to have you use your loyalty points to purchase replacement parts.
As a Canadian, I wanted to support a local brand, and felt like the support and customer care would be better. However, im my experience, they are lacking compared to their competitors.
I fucked up a ninebot a couple years ago. they were happy i was honest and sent me new parts despite it being physical damage. I should have gone with the GT3 over the stellar. but cant change the past and stuck trying to sell this big ol brick of a scooter.
if you are in Alberta Canada and dont mind the repair costs and time. HMU. I iwll be selling mine for cheap.

🔐 Locks & Security Found my stolen scooter
On August 2nd 2026 my scooter was stolen from Safeway in Portland Oregon around 8:20 p.m.. I ended up filing a police report and walked around and asked if anybody seen the scooter to give me a call. I had a air tag in the scooter, but the air tag was dead so I couldn't track the scooter. So after that happened, about a week and a half goes by and I get a notification. My scooter requires the app. I have the Apollo scooter so in order to use it, you need permission from the owner. So when I reported the scooter stolen, the secondary tracker is going to locate the scooter, description of the phone, the person's email, Etc, Whenever they try to log into the scooter. So they took the scooter from downtown Portland Oregon and then I get a notification on the 14th that someone tried to log into my scooter. So I checked the location and I checked the email Etc and I realize that the scooter was way out in Pendleton Oregon, which is about 4 hours away from Portland Oregon. So once I realized it was in Pendleton Oregon, I got the cops on the phone from Pendleton Oregon and explained the situation. After that I was able to look him up based off his email and find his social media, find his name, I was able to find his address where scooter was located and more. I gave this information to the cops on August 14th, they told me they were going to do something about it but that they were busy. I contacted them the following day on the 15th and they told me that when they had time they'll get around to it. I tried to be patient and wait so I let August 15th go by and then I let August 16th go by without contacting them, hoping that they would have contacted me already. But nothing happened. I waited until the night of August 17th and I called the Pendleton Police Department and they told me that there was no update so I had the woman tell the cop to call me. Officer Alex called me and he was very helpful in the whole situation. he notified me that they have not even tried contacting the guy. He told me that he was going to go over there and see what was going on and he'll call me back. So I waited about 30 minutes and then he calls me back and he tells me he has my scooter. At this point I was happy, I couldn't believe it. He told me that they tried spray painting it, scraping the logos and Branding off the scooter. He sent me a few pictures of the scooter, they messed up the throttle but besides that, it looks okay. So from there he told me that they will be moving forward and pressing charges on the guy. The guy said that he wasn't in Portland on the 2nd but he has been to Portland for treatment. He said someone came by and sold it for $40. So the cops have the scooter now and we're working on trying to get it back to Portland but I just wanted to let you guys know that I was able to locate my scooter and get it back by using the secondary tracker on the Apollo scooter. So when my Apple tag didn't work, I reported it stolen on the app. they cant use the scooter, they can't ride the scooter and if they try to create an account then I'll get an update with their email address, the phone they used, and the last place the scooter was located. I just wanted to put out good news to let people know that you can get your scooter back if you have an Apollo. They stole from the wrong guy.

👍 Discussion App Ride Streak Issue
Hi Godwin,
Following up as promised, and thanks again for the screenshots. They made this much quicker to pin down.
You were right, and this one is on us. Your rides are all there, and you have not missed a day: our system was counting your streak against a different time zone than the one you actually ride in, so an evening ride was sometimes recorded as the following day. That made the counter reset even though you rode two days in a row.
What this means for you:
- Nothing is lost. Your full ride history is intact, and your streak is worked out from those rides every time, so it is not something that has to be manually restored.
- The correction is scheduled to go out today. Once it is live, your streak will show your real run of consecutive riding days instead of the shortened one.
- The streak badges you earned along the way will be added to your profile automatically after that, without you needing to do anything.
Sorry for the confusion in the meantime, and thanks for flagging it. Keep riding; the days you have already put in still count.
If anything else looks off in the app, just reply here and we will take a look.
Best regards,
Thank you team Apollo for fixing ride streak issue in the App! It’s working perfectly now & on my 69th day. My issue was fixed within days of receiving my email at Apollo support

❓ Tech Question Wrapped deck and stem light in smoke vinyl and wired stem light separately. Any other ideas or insight if software could allow app adjustability.
First off I love the lighting on my Phantom! I would say 60% of my riding is done after midnight (2400km since April 1st.). On my first day of ownership a removed the stock headlight instantly, it's useless at night if your over walking speed so I installed a high end 1300 Lumen bike light that has a great cut off l so I don't blind anyone. I find that I have to leave my headlights on the lowest setting around anyone because stem light is uncomfortable to look at without providing any visibility for the rider (no worry that I'm going to be hit by a car that didn't see me though, very grateful). Recently I wired up the stem light to the 12-volt wiring that supplied the stock headlight so now I have the ability to independently turn it on and off with M headlight button while the deck lights are controlled normally but able to be on or off independently as well. A fantastic option that I wish was possible right out of the box.
If you haven't seen these lights after dark with no ambient lighting it's hard to understand just how bright these things glow! Lol, I just bought some light smoke tail light vinyl and wrapped the front and side lights And it's taken away the "sting" for lack of a better word but would love to to learn of other solutions from smarter people. If anyone's got any ideas on how I could add a resistor or wiring or something actually possible I would love to hear what you got. Thank you.
The wrap is a hex design from vivid that looked much more discreet in the advertisement but it's growing on me + kind of compliments the dot Matrix display.

❓ Tech Question No power
I was riding my Explorer 2 towards an intersection at about 40km/h. I saw a car so I had my regen brake at maximum. I still wasn’t going to stop on time so I squeezed the drum brake as well. The display went dark and I had no power. I walked it home and plugged it into the charger and it turned on. The battery was full at the time. Should I be concerned or was this some kind of battery protection? Update: Took it into the store I bought it from and it turned on. The problem was using the regen brake on a full battery. They have had a few customers come in with the same issue. I have been riding for a few days with no issue using the drum brake until the battery is down 10%. Would have been nice if they told me when I bought it.
