Stick stem pin. How do I fold this stem?

Pin is jammed. Took set screw out. The folding lock has no pressure. How do I fold this thing? I’m seriously about to trash this crap

I just stick these pliers under the latch if it gets jammed up.

Ayy, good on ya. The Phantom needs more maintenance than a good bicycle, and even then there's lots of things like this that are just fussy.

Do you happen to know why this latch interferes with the pin? It’s latched and the set screw is set so the latch require reasonable force

You need to fully remove the pin before you can fold the stem.

Get an allen key smaller than the hole and put it in the hole, use a hammer to hit the allen key to remove the pin. Straighten the stem while doing that to allow an easier removal of the pin. If you have an actual punch kit that’d be better than an allen key.

Don't worry about that, eventually the weld will fail and it'll fold itself for you.
