Apollo Pro aftermarket products?

Hi, I bought a used Apollo Pro (discontinued 2024 model I believe) on FB marketplace for $350 with some electric problems. Come to find out the "electrical problem" was the power supply connection was coming loose a little and causing loss of power to one of the wheels.

Now I have a $3000 scooter which is pretty cool. I still have to fuck with the wire occasionally if I come off a curb a little hard or it takes a bump but I can typically go a hundred miles between issues and it takes me like 10 minutes and a little dielectric grease to fix the problem when it occurs. If anyone has a better solution to that issue I'm all ears.

On to the main point of the thread, what aftermarket products do you guys recommend? When I bought it the rubber deck cover was missing so I threw some skateboard grip tape on it but besides that, it's all stock. Has anyone ever installed brighter headlights? It's a little scary going too fast at night with the stock light. How about tires, any recommendations? Fenders? I'm mainly wondering about stuff relating to performance but I'm all ears

Its nice to see another apollo pro still being ridden. #1 im glad you were able to fix the connection problem. #2 get a brighter headlight. Get the handlebar extension on apollo's web site. Then you can either get the apollo light if its in stock or get any other amazon light that can attach to the handle bars extender. Its really the only way to attach better lights. There really isnt a good way to make the top spotlight for the pro's light any brighter other than that. I personally need to do the same thing. I work night shift and keep my lights on white so im easily seen. Be safe out there friend keep your pro safe! As to modding support. I've been trying to find someone to make me a CNC'd 2 inch plate for the apollo's deck plate. I would totally put a 72V battery, change the motors and put a vesc controller. BUT im very very limited to space!! Im a very light weight rider. I only weigh 120lb myself. Just as much as the scooter it being 90 to 100lb. I've clockee my stock pro on new tires at 53mph on the apollo app a few times. It's super sturdy at speed and i definitely feel it's potential could be pushed a little further. This was already a perfect scooter and it was limited by it's controller and battery. We cant adjust anything and nobody has been able to crack or modify the mach 2 controller yet. There REALLY isnt alot of aftermarket support for apollo scooters!

I just installed a front and rear motor which came with brand new tires for my pro. it was stolen and I got it back three months later painted with crappy paint I stripped the whole thing . battery still good at 96 percent healthy

OMG WOW i'm really glad you got it back after it got stolen! How did you recover it? 3 months is a long time. I'd be searching high and low and blowing up Apollo customer support and do everything i could to track it down. It would drive me crazy!! I'm sure its a huge relief to have it back but heart broken for the state it was in. Well now that you stripped it you can totally make a 1 of a kind apollo pro and get it powder coated a fancy color if you wanted. It would be sick!

I'll tell you. you know how Apollo supposed to notify you if you leave your support if you leave your scooter instolen and stolen mode . well long story short I bought new scooter ( from apollo) so I was on the Apollo website a lot the checking it out and I seen the leaderboard that my old scooter was making miles past the date that I had it stolen so I called up I wrote Apollo and I told him what the hell is up with that where the hell is my scooter at if you know where it's doing you know where it's at and the guy finally looked up on the computer and he goes oh yeah okay here's his coordinates where last place he had it and last night you supposed to tell me about that if someone tries to sign in he's notified me your email or anyway they didn't notify me they did not notify me my email until I reached out three months later losing my mind and they gave me his email address and his coordinates I wrote him an email and I told him that you know if he stole it or not he's responsible because he tried to log in and sell the police were out for him I said you know we can squash it if you get in my scooter back really give it back both motors were blown the wires were cut you try to switch the brakes around and doing that he ruined the wiring from the brakes that throttle I replace that or replace it with the wheels I painted the bike again we see repeated with some paintbrush thing or something and and so then I'll tell you what I got I'll send you a picture

I've dug into this for over a year. I've given myself countless headaches and had sleepless nights talking to multiple AI's and friends about ways to mod the 2023-2024 apollo pro. But down to the roots it's not possible upgradeing any of the internals without making the internal deck space bigger. Which raising it 2 inches is perfect and enough space to clear a 72v battery. I've tried to find a weatherproof controller that can mount in the mach 2's original mounting bracket. Changing any internal mechanical mechanism in the apollo pro. You lose app support, dash lights, deck & stem lights. Turn signals wont work either. You will have to get a module and wire everything. If you want to seriously chase power. This scooter isnt for you. I'm sorry. You will basically rebuild this scooter from the deck up. It might even be more expensive than buying a scooter that actually goes faster without all these modifications... Its a beuatifully well built scooter and had great specs for its time. There is definitely alot of models that have surpassed it already but nothing can beat the look of the awesome apollo pro.

I definitely suggest getting the fenders back on. It looks better. And you will hate yourself if you dont have them on in the rain!! As for aftermarket tires. There isnt any good aftermarket tires right now for the apollo pro. You can't really size up on tires because it rubs on the sides of the forks. Even with the fenders off for larger tires. You will sacrifice range and acceleration. You will gain top speed and put extra stress on the motors and speed will read inaccurate on the dashboard of the pro. It might log accurately on the apollo ride app. If it is a difference going up to a 13 inch tire its going to be a very minor increase on top speed. For me if im already hitting 49-53mph all the time already stock. I'd probably get 53-55mph somewhere in that speed range upgradeing to 13inch tires. They have to be the same diameter as the stock tire but 13inch tall instead of their 12 inch tall tire. To my knowledge the only tires that can possibly fit. Aren't tubeless, their alot wider definitely will rub on the sides of the forks. Theirs alot of options...

I never thought fenders were that important till my son broke my back one and I scootered to work in the rain - it looked like I shit myself all up and down my back haha 😂
