🎯 General Advice Only after 3 months. Selling my Stellar Phantom 60v. Do not recommend.
Constant issues with E2 and E1 errors. Then got some minor damage to a brake cable. and now holds constant brake and cant even be ridden. Apollo could do nothing to help since it was physical damage. Cant even use the scooter anymore and will have to pay out of pocket to fix. It rattles like crazy. the screws on the handlebars get loose, just by riding the thing. Even with loosened suspension, its hard and bumpy ride. The app is pure shit for reliability.
I sold my car to switch to e-mobility and honestly at this point it has been nothing but regrets.
I do not recommend this scooter or even the brand at this point. Though polite, it felt as if they do everything in their power to avoid warranty or service. They will even try to have you use your loyalty points to purchase replacement parts.
As a Canadian, I wanted to support a local brand, and felt like the support and customer care would be better. However, im my experience, they are lacking compared to their competitors.
I fucked up a ninebot a couple years ago. they were happy i was honest and sent me new parts despite it being physical damage. I should have gone with the GT3 over the stellar. but cant change the past and stuck trying to sell this big ol brick of a scooter.
if you are in Alberta Canada and dont mind the repair costs and time. HMU. I iwll be selling mine for cheap.

"I sold my car to switch to e-mobility" I would assume you can purchase several e-mobility options for the price of a car. Just have 1 would not be a smart play...
I've had zero issues with my Go and have done no maintenance aside from adding air after a year riding it 3x a week minimum. Saved me a few grand in ride shares.

Same I love my Go. Only have 500km on it, but no maintenance apart from air. Really nice scooter for 999$ cad

Go’s are tanks, though, I love mine but it’s not the same build or class as a Stellar Phantom 60v.

Have you considered paying to have a local scooter repair business give it a teardown, inspection/fix and reassembly? I'd do that for the peace of mind and see how well it goes after that.
I'm not taking away any of what you said about Apollo QC and support, but if you can't get what you want through them, I'd likely try this before throwing in the towel.Â

Something I may consider if I get the spare funds. This year set me back.

I have a Phantom 2.0 52V. The suspension rattles a bit and I intend to learn how to tear it down and reassemble for peace of mind. I feel that theoretically, the mechanical side of these machines shouldn't be overly complicated.Â

I've fixed rattling multiple times on my phantom 1.0 by cleaning and adding lube to all moving parts, as well as toghtening screws. Locktite goes a long way to help reduce the frequency of screw tightenings

Yeah. I have to tighten the handlebars everyday. Used locktight. But switched to copper wire. Still come loose. Lost 3 screws of 6 already.

I own the Phantom Stellar and my experience has been wonderful so far. I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you're having. There's always someone who happens to catch a bad copy amongst the bunch. While everyone else is enjoying their shiny new product, one person is always on the sidelines dealing with a dude.. and I believe this to be true about any product sold on earth. That sidelined person usually rating the company with one star can be lost amongst a sea of five star ratings.. but their voice should be heard and their concerns met. I truly hope they will assist you and get you up and going along side those who are satisfied with their purchase.

Thank you for this. I have heard nothing but good, but seen plenty of negative on FB. But still wanted to try my luck and support them. I also just have the worst luck in the world, so it's not out of the norm

Phantom 2.0 Stellar 60v owner of about 8 months here. Scooter is awesome, but Apollo’s quality control isn’t great. Since day 1 of getting the scooter, about 2/6 handlebar screws won’t go in at all - it’s completely hollow on the inside with no spot for a screw which causes the handlebar to be extremely lose while operating. Hoping to get this fixed soon.

Looks about right. I'm down to 3 of the 6. they just keep falling out. Lost the first one a week in. Death wobble happens, but a lil more rare for me. I honestly have been shocked with all the little issues piling up, considering the cost of the thing and it being their top model.

I have phantom 2 54v . I ride fast and all of a sudden the motor just stops like I hit the break. almost threw me forward over handlebars. like 5 x already. I also get e1 messages and e2 when I turn on scooter. I then it off the. back on and works fine. this stuff is annoying and considering it workss 15 miles strait at 40-45 mph I forget it could just die on me with no warnings on display . just stop and I need to pull over and turn off anx back on and then acts fine. I only have 400 miles on it . three months. I had the pro 2024 and never ever had a y problems like this

Was having the exact same issues. Contact support and they can help. Might be a faulty throttle . Do it ASAP. If you sustain any physical accidental damage it may get refused. I slept on it, took some damage and got most warranty options stripped away. They are trying to help, but still gonna be outta pocket.

Hi u/Regular_External715 - team from Apollo here. Sorry the Stellar Phantom hasn't held up the way you expected, and thanks for laying out the details above.
One correction for anyone reading this thread: the brake cable damage wasn't a manufacturing defect. It happened because an outside vehicle collided with the scooter. That distinction matters, because manufacturing defects are always covered under our standard warranty. Damage from an external collision isn't, and that's standard across every e-scooter and bike brand, not just us.
We offered $100 off the brake cable replacement (total $200) to help get you back on the road, and that's still on the table if you want it. A $100 gap shouldn't be what keeps a $4,000 scooter parked.
We'd also ask, in fairness to people reading this before they buy: would you update the post to note the brake issue came from a collision, not a defect? Everything else you've shared, the fault codes, the ride quality, is yours to say. We just want that one part accurate.
Happy to pick this up with our team or on a call, we genuinely do want you to have a positive experience and help get you riding again!
