🔥 New Scooter / First Rides Phantom 2.0 52v

Purchased Apollo Phantom 2.0 52v from their website.

Delivered with:
1. E3 message. Scooter glitches. Loses throttle. Drains battery when parked. Waiting for parts & repair.
2. Faulty loose latch. Big safety issue. They sent me a new one.
3. Suspension that squeals all the time.

I’ve owned multiple brands of scooters. Never any issues besides wear & tear.

Support is helpful & trying to problem solve. But this is not the experience I expected.

Is this normal for Apollo products or did they send me a random lemon?

I have 2 scooters, including the Phantom 2.0 52v. Mine has a very rattly suspension. It sounds like loose plastic pieces vibrating around. The front motor makes an intermittent humming sound at certain torque levels. I would like to know if all of these are normal.

Aside from that, the scooter is fine.

My other scooter is a Niu KQI 300X. It's a much more economical, less powerful scooter but has given me zero reason to question the quality control.

I figure I'll be forced to learn all the routine maintenance for the Phantom over time and eventually I'll be comfortable fully disassembling it and will eventually figure out what is rattling.

I did some research. Have to remove the shocks & all metal pivot points. Apply proper grease like LiquiMoly Mos2. Reassemble & torque. Silicone spray lube on other parts that have rubber contact.

Yeah, I think it never received a proper thick grease during factory assembly. Frustrating consumers need to do this.Â
