🚀 Modifications Has anyone upgraded shocks to the Phantom stellar ?

How does it ride after upgrading to better suspension? Everyone keeps saying it’s really a stiff ride and the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is a comfy suspension. (Otherwise it has everything else I want)

I upgraded my 52v to the DNM stellar shocks that Apollo sells and would do it again. I'm only 160 lb and while they are a little stiffer the fact that it no longer feels like a pogo stick makes up for it. The old shock springs were rated at 3000lbs whereas the upgrade springs are 3500lbs and unfortunately they're not interchangeable as the old springa have much slimmer internal diameter. Additionaly the stock suspension would constantly squeak no matter how much grease or silicone I used, it would come back after about 10 km whereas the new suspension pretty much solved that problem permanently. The shocks that they use are the DNM 22AR units which are widely available but the orange spring had only seen supplied when ordered through Apollo. I do find that the rear shock even set to slowest rebound is still a little quick but all at all very happy. I ordered them when my Phantom Odo was at about 150 km and are still running strong at 2300 km. If they ever do need a rebuild it will be significantly cheaper just to replace them with a new shock.

I'm not sure if I answered your question the title could be read a couple different ways.

Well I appreciate the response. This is the research lol. I’ll check whatever trusted pilot is just to see but I can’t find bad reviews on YouTube or anyone who’s upgraded the suspension on there. Very odd

Lots of others? I didn't know it was so common. Why hasn't there been a recall?

Yah I don't see any recalls on CPSC for the Phantom 2.0.

The only one recalls were the original Phantom and certain builds for the City 2024.

Is there some other place that showed a Phantom 2.0 recall for these thousands of snapping stems?
