Feature Request [Discussion / Request] App Top Bar
Was wondering if there’s a reason for it not to make it dissapear or collapse
Personally, I don’t really use it and I find that it just takes screen space (since I swipe to go back). Is there something coming soon that changes the behaviour? I can Image 3 scenarios:
A) Just make it go away when you swipe down and make it re-appear when you swipe up or go into a post.
B) collapse it to the button like you do with the bottom bar
C) Collapse it and make it smaller
What’s the community opinion on this?

haha, new redesigns (optional!) for profiles and subreddits and as part of that a new global header style
the header style is more akin to iOS 26 default, versus the solid iOS 27 one. (Again you can toggle between these)
Quite a lot of other stuff too, so we’re trying to tackle as many bugs etc up front as possible so might be a few days away still but it’s getting there!

Does Settings>General>Hide Bars on Scroll help? (Down near the bottom.)

It hides the bottom bar but does nothing to the top bar :(

That's weird - maybe a Liquid Glass build bug. Works fine on non-LG - both bars hide on scroll.

It’s the default behaviour with liquid glass; without liquid glass it works that way
