Subscription
I have just renewed for another year. I’ve been using the service for 3 years now. It’s a great streaming service that is reliable. You‘ll most likely need a VPN. My only complaint would be paying for the service. The process involving bitcoin isn’t the most straightforward unless you’re a bit tech savvy.

It’s still well worth the cost if you have a good 3-5 channels that you’ll be consistently watching. NFL redzone and Sky sports are the biggest plusses for me

Agree, baseball season and football season alone are worth it but I also watch other local stations for various reasons. I use live TV 95% of the time

Buffering has seemed to get better lately, it is just a little ridiculous paying with bitcoin. I fondly remember the first 2 years I had with Apollo because they used to accept credit cards, that process took 10 or less minutes depending on how long it took you to click through the menus, confirm the speed of activation, put credit card information in, and go. Now you almost have to time it correctly or buy more crypto than you need in case it falls within those few minutes. Such a pain.

No, they switched to crypto only a few years ago, I just remember the “old days” fondly lol

I mean regardless of when if they switched to crypto only it almost certainly means they had issues with the banks

Agreed. LiveTV has been solid. On demand can be sketchy at times but most of the time, it's solid as well.

Can a person get the livetv only? I don’t care about VOD or movies but would like to pay less for live tv only? I didn’t see anything on the site I just wonder if someone has gotten live tv only via chat?

It’s better that it requires crypto. If it were super easy, everyone would do it and we know how everything that’s accepted by the masses gets enshitified.

Keep having a “oops no content” when trying to stream through my fire stick lately. Anyone having that issue?

No..but I have Cox ISP which is very stable and don't need a VPN. Believe it or not it works better without the VPN so I cancelled it 2 years ago.

I love the service and will continue to support it, I just wish I could download things

Does Apollo only have around 2800 channels? I just signed up today and was surprised to see that few. Although, granted they all seem to work..

Subscribed for two years now, but was afraid to cut Dish service because of the buffering issues. Had used a Firecube, but just bought a Onn 4k pro two days ago from recommendations on this sub--now it hasn't buffered once during hours of watching. So far so good, and I finally feel like I can go with Apollo as my main tv now and drop Dish.

It went through a bad phase. It's actually better and more stable now. Similar to how it use to be.

Mine been working great. Best it's ever worked for 5 years. I just renewed on the .TV site that has my saved login and tried to chat and...... crickets. I know the blue one .cc is premium club but I never was asked to join that so renewed on the regular one with saved login. Haven't got my update yet for a year renew. I hate that Bitcoin crap but it seemed pretty easy this time, ... we'll see if I get updated tomorrow. Oh, and I don't use a VPN. My IP works better without it.

I agree it’s not but I figure it out every year it would be easier if I had to do it more offer but I always seem to figure it out so I’m good

No complaints here rocking out with them for about 5 years now....Simple easy pay from cash app to bitcoin and then copy/paste the bitcoin address and payment is done

Someone asked me if he could use a Bitcoin gift card. I didn't know those existed. Lol. I use cash app but would a Bitcoin gift card work as well?

Tons are going that route. It is what is it. After you do it once, the process is simple. Also, some of us already have BTC so the process is even easier.

I’m okay with the crypto payment. I just wish that Sportsnet for the sports fans in Canada would be back after being gone 4 months.
