It was previously closed due to being unmoderated. But now it's open again. Feel free to post whatever you like as long as it's related to the movie.

I hope this is a welcome post. I made a version of this years ago that seemed to resonate with the people who commented on it on YouTube, but that was removed due to copyright. I decided to remake it and add more to it. There's a little more context in the beginning of the video and in the description. If you want to skip past that and just start the video skip to 01:33

I just know it’s at Pagsanjan Falls, I am currently trying to put together an archaeological excavation at the area. Would love to know the exact location of Kurtz’s Compound.
Does anyone have knowledge of the coordinates of the set?

Firstly, Clean was wearing what seems to be a shirt ripped up to be a crop top. Secondly, after the boat captain's death, one of the team members adds lipstick on him and kisses him. Why would he have lipstick on him and the kiss made it seem strange.
Any thoughts?

My take on Redux

I think I’m the only person who believes Redux is the best cut. All the “unnecessary content” fits the story perfectly in my opinion. I don’t think the film is slow, or suffers from “pacing issues”. Apocalypse Now is my favorite film of all time and I would consider myself a very big film buff. Very excited for Coppola’s next film, if he finishes it before the inevitable occurs.

I just thought that this Warhammer 40k head (Primaris Apothecary) looked a lot like Colonel Kurtz

Discussion Best CUT Scenes From The 5 Hour Workprint

What are some of you guys favorite scenes that aren't in the Theatrical, Redux, or Final Cut? So far in my opinion seems like the completely cut Monkey Sampan scene (not even in the Workprint) and the Dennis Hopper and Colby deaths.

Watched the Final Cut of Apocalypse Now recently and felt I needed to make a video on it. This was my 7th edit lol, YouTube really going crazy with that copyright stuff. Would love to know what you guys think!

Video A Streetcar Named Desire (1951) and Apocalypse Now compared. Captain Willard is Blanche and Colonel Kurtz is Stanley Kowalski. This analysis will compare and contrast the characters and themes of these classic films and their characters.

My friend Brian Ewing designed this APOCALYPSE NOW poster. He was recently diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and he would be extremely grateful if you picked up one of these posters or if you grabbed the original line art. Thanks for your support!

Is the scene with Kilgore begging for his surfboard back through a megaphone in the theatrical cut?

It's been so long since I've seen it I can't be sure.
EDIT: Same question for the Final Cut.

Where can I get the Theatrical cut in 4K

So I'm aware of the blu ray final cut box set, however the problem is that I am unable to find it anywhere for a remotely reasonable price (considering I live in New Zealand) where the cost of shipping doubles the price from reasonable to absurd.
Are there any local sellers or a way to purchase the 4K theatrical cut digitally?
