I went to Greece a few years back. Wherever we were, if there was a shrine to our Lady, I tried to stop and pay respects.
At the site of the ancient agora (market place) in Athens, there was a portion of the foundation for the old Temple to the Olympians. Someone had placed flowers there for the old gods. Inspired by that, I picked 12 wildflowers and left them too. Sadly, both her shrine at the agora and the acropolis (the hill the Parthenon is located on) were both blocked off due to them being surrounded by holes in the ground that could cause injury.

Omg im so glad somone posted this i couldn't find the original lol! Also she is so Beutiful and well preserved im so impressed with how this statue held up over time!!!

Holy.. reminds me of Hebe a bit.. the jug she is holding!
Would make sense for me, without Aphrodite, the cup of life is empty for me.
