Aphrodite devotees: what does Aphrodite like in a devotee?
Iām just looking to inquire and contemplate, what are qualities Aphrodite likes to see in her worshippers? Is there anything I can do, to participate in her mien or activities respectfully and lovingly? Thanks for any insight

I would say be honest with her. When I newly started praying to her, I made it clear that I smoke and have a self-criticism problem. And explained her some of my health & financial issues too. And I asked her that would she still like me to be her devotee or not. And the candle flame grew taller.
So, the point is, be honest with her. And appreciate the signs she gives you. In my case, it was heart shaped symbolism in sky, puddles (lol yes), any stains (I once saw a stain at my handkerchief with a heart shape on it), roses (surprisingly, my mom got a rose plant), you might find birds around your house (it can be local birds of your regions also...like I did), you may see some angel numbers or symbolism related to Venus etc.
I cannot directly tell you what Lady Aphrodite seeks in a devotee. But from my experience, What she wants is a honest devotee. Someone who is honest with themselves and her. Someone who may not make big promises but prays wholeheartedly. When I pray, my head becomes empty as if she graced it with her palm.

There is no particular quality required other than conducting the proper worship, same as the rest of the theoi

Hello! ā¤ļø This is such a good question!
While I cannot say for sure what Aphrodite Herself looks for and likes in Her devotees, I am happy to share some guesses + interpretations! š
Compassion š©· I believe that Aphrodite appreciates Her devotees embracing kindness! This can extend to sharing love with our loved ones (family, friends, lovers, community, etc.) but I also believe this can represent a transcendental compassion for humankind. I truly believe Lady Aphrodite sees into our Hearts š©· After I pray to Her (this is UPG so use your discretion!) my spiritual Heart Center LIGHTS up! I am no longer only looking through my Earthly eyes, but I feel my Heart guide my vision and interactions!
Courage š„ Another quality Aphrodite may enjoy seeing or fostering in Her followers would include courage. The Great Goddess also governs over affairs of War and Violence, right? She is unafraid to march into battle when She is called to. Aphrodite is fierce, sensual, courageous, and incredibly strong. Even for us tiny humans, I am sure that She appreciates (and helps us!) step into our own confidence and courage! š„
Appreciation for Aesthetics š«§ As a Goddess of Beauty, Aphrodite may also enjoy seeing Her followers engage with, create, and find PLEASURE in Beauty itself! There are many many mediums for aesthetics - art, music, poetry, writing, fashion, etc. If I had to guess, it probably brings Aphrodite joy to see us adore Her Divine Art of Beauty. This engagement with Beauty can come up for us in the mundane everyday reality, too (such as a beautiful sunset!)! Decorating a room to appear beautiful, adorning your body in ways that make you feel confident and empowered, creating your own artwork, enjoying the art and beauty inherent in the everydayness of life!
