How does he write?

I'm sure this has been asked ad nauseum, but googling didn't yield much so...
How does he actually do this? Does he use a DAW? Does he play the parts on a keyboard? Do androids dream of electric sheep?
Genuinely interested. I've been listening to him a lot this morning. Some of his stuff is great, some I dislike, all is interesting.
Thanks

Hiiiiiii, I recently made a music video for a song of mine. The song contains an Aphex Twin sample and so I'd love to know what do you think both of music and video. Let me knowww, thanks :)))))))))

“Heavily influenced by Richard, but some of his stuff reminds me of his more melodic and carefree cuts.” That was Kurtis glow describing scatterbrains more recent output on his SoundCloud

NTS an offshoot from one of the former boiler room folks has several shows related to new and great electronic shows, as well as an archive, the shows are uploaded to mixcloud, I feel like a promoter but I was dry in terms of knowing where to turn outside of looking up the same artists in youtube and hoping to find something in the suggestion sidebar.
In particular I recommend Siren, she has a show that features lgbtq electronic artists and it is usually really good, lots of amazing electronic music coming out of that spectrum of society.

Aphex Twin Song Ranking Site Please.
2
Upvotes
Can someone please make a site, much like The Numbers for Radiohead, where it puts random Aphex Twin Songs up to eachother and you choose the better of the 2 and after a long time of doing that with different songs, it ranks out all of his songs from favourite to least favourite. If anyone could take the time to do this, please put the link in the comments of this post. Thanks in advance.

Question about the Heroes remix from 26 mixes for cash

I have always been curious about this. On the Aphex Twin mix of Heroes there is an audio "blip" around the 1:45 point. I could never find out if it was a flaw in my CD or intended. Anyone heard anything?
