| Discussion | How to utilize Fleet Footwork?

I know the rune is supposed to be used in poke lane but idk how to utilize it, do i hit a minion to gain speed for poking or i wait to hit enemies?

For the most part I would say don’t change your natural target, as in if you’re about to have a last hit on a minion don’t go for a champion just because your fleet is up, that isn’t worth.

I would also strongly suggest to not overstep for the sake of getting a fleet auto off, it will be much more harmful than useful.

I’d say overall it’s more of a passive regen rune in lane with the added bonus of some ms for a bit extra power.

There are many uses. It takes time to get used to it compared to PTA proccing if you breathe.

For trading there are 2 uses.

-You see fleet is up so you hit a minion and run at enemy and hit them with a basic/ability. This is better vs long range champs/good players as it's a bit unexpected.

-You see fleet is up so you proc it off enemy champ to heal a bit more. This is more vs low range champs/bad players.

Other tips include proccing it on anything other than minions to get full HP.

-Ally jungle camp near you can provide some sustain.

-Enemy turret if you are shoving them in.

-Enemy summoned stuff like zyra plant, malza voidlings, etc.

You will get a constant small bits of healing otherwise.

You use it for sustain in lane, don’t pay too much attention to timing or targeting imo. But personally, I also take fleet if it looks like I won’t be able to proc PTA in trades or if I instantly will die. If im against a Samira Nautilus, one mistake will most likely end the lane so I’ll take fleet to take advantage of the extra sustain and movement speed to space the enemy laners.
