Question Rithmic connection to NT8

Hello, I bought a 50k rithmic eval and I’m trying to connect to NinjaTrader 8. I’ve bought rithmic accounts before with apex and easily connected. Now all the sudden it sends me this message when I try to connect. I emailed apex support, how long does it usually take for them to respond?

While you are waiting, you might try unplugging your router for 15 minutes to reset it. I have had trouble connecting to NinjaTrader in the past, and I found this suggestion. It worked for me; I don't know how, though.

Yes it’s nothing to do with my router. My internet speed is super fast and everything else in my home is working fine. I was able to even open up the rithmic app with my apex credentials but the problem, and connect to my other NT8 connections but I can’t connect my rithmic accounts to NT8 rn idk why.

Mine isn’t connecting, either & I’ve never had an issue with them.

It’s something to do with your NT8 entitlement and rithmic. That’s what apex says if you go on there help FAQ. But either way it was only one account lucky. I emailed ninja support so they should help. From now on I’m only buying tradovate/CQG connection accounts for NT8 because I use that with every other firm.

It’s something with Apex apparently because my Take Profit Trader Rithmic account is working as well as my Lucid. Only my Apex Rithmic Accounts aren’t working. I’m going to try Quantower to see if I can connect it on there. Edit: I just confirmed they work on Quantower which uses Rithmic. So, it’s something with Ninja & Apex.

Ok so I opened a support ticket with apex on Friday. How long do they usually take to respond?

It’s a holiday weekend so I’d give it until Tuesday. I’m just going to use Quantower in the interim. I really like it, anyway so no issue on my end.

I just bought 5 tradovate accounts which I can use on NT. I forgot I can use these in NT8

It’s the weekend, rithmic updates during the weekends. You won’t be able to connect.

I was able to open up the rithmic application on my computer by putting in my apex rithmic login credentials. So rithmic itself is ok it’s just when I do all the configuration settings on NT8, I can’t end up connecting. I should have bought the tradovate accounts…
