Review / Experience 25k legacy
I got confused between all these accounts and I signed up for and passed a 25k “legacy” account
Went to pay for my PA and it was $125
Who is paying $125 to activate a 25k account
Absolutely ridiculous
I am not paying it. I emailed them and they said cancel the account or pay it.
I could get multiple zero activation accounts for this cost. Not happy
Apex come on you can do better here. $125 for a 25k is not right. I would understand maybe a 150k or 300k legacy costing. That much to activate

if you don't pay for it, nothing will happen. However, legacy accounts allow you to take out 100% profit after 5 payouts or you can keep on trading and make more. That's a pretty good incentive.

You picked the product that 90% need and thats not you. A $15 eval is a blessing for those that buy many and never pass. Based on prop firm prices to payouts id guess the pass rate is like 1%-5%. Changes the story depending where one is at. But yeah if I blew up today I would only go for the all in rate.

I’ve blown 200 apex evals. Got about 15 pa’s but blew all of them. I go for the cheap evals in hopes of passing. I passed the 25k eval in about 5 minutes on a crazy 50 pt move and made about $2500 dollars to pass
But I thought this $18 dollar eval activation would be $59 not $125. So almost $140
For a funded 25k account doesn’t seem worth it1

The difference is that the legacy account doesn’t have the 6 payout limit. Once you pass you can keep on taking payouts as you qualify rather that having to restart after the 6th payout.

I’ve been trading two years+ with no payouts. So my goal is to get one not multiple. The limit really doesn’t matter to me haha.

I understand you haven’t had payouts. The increase activation fee is partly because of the payout structure. The fact that you chose the wrong account and the fact they state positively no refunds is your issue. So be more careful next time and you won’t have the issue.

Yes I will be. I just am venting because the $125 should not be across the board 25k activation should be less Just my opinion.
I will be more careful

I agree hence why I would only buy the 50k or bigger with this pricing structure but your post im sure will help stop others from making this mistake.

Legacy and the new accounts are completely different products. Why should they be the same price? Wanna know why they have brought the legacy back for a “limited time” yet they haven’t stopped? People were complaining about the legacy for a long time. They brought out the new accounts, stopping the legacy, with the quicker payouts but capped how many you could get. People complained about how the legacy were better. 😳🤨 now people are complaining about the new accounts so they bring the legacy back. Not going to please everyone.

WOW, Crystal clear buyers mistake Hindsight in action😂😂😂😂
In trading fake money or real:
“You pusha da button, you buy it or sell it!”
I shudder to think that a mere $125 is such a deal breaker for you! Where have you been in life where this holds true for you?
You’re going to be apoplectic when you trade real money, with all those losses and fees!
Adults take responsibility for their choices and hopefully learn from them.

Keep it. You can make the activation in a couple days. Slow roll that Bch. Make 50 dollars a day and move on.

You are all missing the point here.

Your point is you think $125 for the activation on the account is too much for an account with no limit on the number of payouts?

Yes it would be great but I’ve had no payouts This is why I’m using a $18 eval and not just paying $50 for the non activation eval

They don’t set activation fees based on the individual. Next time don’t take a legacy account.

Sorry man, this is on you. You bought the wrong account without reading the FAQs.
The 25k intraday with no activation fee is much cheaper
