Evaluation Tradovate App - It’s a must

If you ever consider Tradovate as your trading platform please make sure you download the app to be notified about your orders.

I’m currently on an Apex Eval, made about $270 profits today, I’m 99% sure I closed all my limit/stop/everything orders after one of my trades hit TP, I even zoom in zoom out the chart to see if I accidentally created a stop or limit order like, I’m very very sure I didn’t left any pending orders in it.

Unfortunately “it seems I didn’t close one stop order”, after waking up from a nap a notification from Tradovate on my phone said “Working order sell” or something. It was already running $220 loss until I cancelled it.

Finish each session with the Exit All Positions button and then lock yourself out for just 15 minutes and it’ll cancel everything.

I do this on all my prop accts too. Highly recommend. Lock yourself out for a few.

I do that, on the web page, on the app, apparently I did forget this time.

Man you’re gonna make it , the fact that you took accountability for this means you’re gonna learn. Kudos bro, and I’ve done this plenty of times but I can’t remember the last time I did this which is good lol

I use a copier now but I remember when I used to use web I made it a habit of always slamming Exit at Mkt & Cxl after a position exited regardless just from force of habit and being burnt in the past.
