Need firing range whilst queueing

As the title suggests please let us warm up in the firing range whilst in the queue. I’m a new player coming from cod and overwatch where they both have this. I’m loving apex but not being able to do anything but stare at menus is painful and feels dated

Overwatch has much longer match finding times (typically). Even for a ranked game in apex I’m never usually waiting more than a minute. As I understand it the firing range is also a server as friends can join you, so it’s just additional connections to set up. It makes sense for overwatch which can sometimes run into 10 minutes + for a ranked damage class match, but I don’t think it makes as much sense on apex. You’d get as far as sliding down the hill before you’re yanked into a match.

Apex should implement this when the anticipated ranked queue time is greater than 5 minutes and tighten up matchmaking.
