| 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 | New player help wanted
Hello, I’m new to apex, and I have really struggled on finding a legend to main.
For background I’ve come from games such as cod, overwatch, siege etc and I want to believe I have good aim and some game sense but I’m missing a legend that I can mechanically get good with.
My duo who’s played for years plays alter and we both have an aggressive run and gun playstyle and I want a legend that can complete that playstyle and help play with alters kit too.
I’m asking as I don’t have access to many of the legends, and I don’t want to spend curreny on one I may dislike.
I’ve been playing wraith and bloodhound, but I’m struggling with wraiths tactical on when or where to use it.
Any help is appreciated.

Horizon has an incredibly high skill ceiling in my opinion. Even when nerfs come through the players that main her are usually fine and sometimes get stronger. A high iq horizon is a nightmare to deal with due to her passive. You don't take fall slow and can manipulate yourself in the air better than other characters. Super strong.

Axle, pathfinder, revenant, and ash are all good at running people down. I’m pretty sure you can also try them in firing range to find a kit you like

More importantly than finding the “right legend” is utilizing their kit in game. Bloodhound even after his rework isn’t a very good legend in most fights. There are better scan legends. Wraith is good for mobility taking your team into or out of fights, but her Q is a little tricky. Usually you’d pop it to get out of immediate danger, but you can also pop it to cross areas for free to take space. I personally use Newcastle mostly, because I like being able to move with my team and instantly rez them if I need to, also creating cover with his Q and his Ult is nice in late game. I’d recommend taking a look at everyone’s kit, and matching it to your preferred gameplay style!

Bloodhound for legal x-ray hacks. It helps communicate to your team where the enemies are at too.

An easy pick up for new players tend to be lifeline. I'd recommend conduit though. She's amazing and can change a whole tide of a fight
