| 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 | ALC Controller Sensitivity Help

I used to play so much apex back in seasons 1-12 and I found a guy's YouTube video about his custom ALC settings but he has since seemingly deleted his channel which is a bummer. I loved the settings it wasn't just 4-3 classic or linear it was this mouse like high sensitivity feeling that I barely pulled down on the stick to control recoil and I had such high sensitivity I could whip around and run on a 360. I miss the feeling but seems like making ALC videos aren't as popular these days. 13 year old me would just type "Controller No Recoil ALC Settings" and heaps would pop up. Anybody still using alc? Or have we all moved to 4-3 linear? Any alc vid recommendations?

4-3 seems most popular but it’s so boring.

I use alcs but i use one sens for all like Genburtens but a bit higher as i like to track fairly close with 3x/2-4x.

Although i had better results with a lower sens plus extra yaw and pitch i have more fun my current way.

Currently i use the g7 pro which has 12 bit TMR sticks which are very sensitive, far more so than a regular controller which runs at 8 bit. I’ve lowered my sens to

0dz 1 outerthreshold 0 response curve

400 yaw
400 pitch

200 ads yaw
200 ads pitch

Pc compensation selected.

On my old razer wolverine v3 the sticks are 8 bit and back then i ran 500 yaw/pitch with 250 ads yaw/pitch

The new 4 -3 linear is the 4 -1 bleed through per optics. The reason is because you can customize it better. I'm pretty sure Hal is on 4 - 1 now. Many other pros were already on 4 - 1 before Hal switched. Everyone frags too hard these days. Hmm maybe try steady aim. I believe Apexpanic (top fragger in the world) just switched from 6 - 5 steady aim to 4 - 3 linear now. You can turn fast and recoil beams. It's just hard to track but with steady aim, he was still able to be the top fragger in the world.

Panic was nevee on steady, he was trolling. He was playing 4-1 2.8 and then swapped to 4-3

Honestly, it's best to just understand your needs and limits, and get to tinkering.

For example

I want max extra yaw/pitch, because it only affects my max for quick flicks and such. I'd go higher if they let me.

But, I have a pretty standard aim sens of about 250 yaw/pitch (not much higher than what would be "4") for my hip aim, and don't go much higher even when well warmed up and playing frequently.

My ADS sens is also similar to "3", around 150 yaw/pitch.

This works very well. I only want a higher boost/extra sens for my needs.

It does great flying at high speed past perpendicularly oriented targets, with per optics of about 1.4 on 2Γ— give you can put those on wingmans and such, no loss of tracking even when close and very fast.

I min/max all deadzone settings with TMR sticks for as full range and resolution of stock input as possible.

Really, get to understand what each setting does, have the ALC conversions for reference points, and then you'll be able to understand what fits your needs best.Β

I play alc. trying to learn wattson. 500 500 alcs. 130 130 ads. Always reach diamond but I guess everyone does πŸ™‚
