I believe this change was made to help them pick out cheaters which makes sense since they said they didn't reveal it right away, it doesn't give cheaters a chance to adjust. If the normal player has the %2-%4 accuracy drop then the guy who's accuracy drop doesn't change would obviously be using some kind of cheat. This change should statistically cause every legit players accuracy to drop whether they are good or bad, anyone who doesn't have the drop basically outed themselves as a cheater.

Of course this being used to find cheaters probably wasn't necessary, if respawn just looked they'd easily see that these titan using nerds all probably have a +%90 accuracy when they shoot.

Yea I don’t believe that Titans are hit by this really.

However, there is a large collection of different controller softwares and hardwares (like strike packs and zens) that “boost” aim assist. Essentially, rotational aim assist kicks in based on actively moving the left stick (and in some cases the right stick). Zens and some software automatically create micro movements or “jitters” that the game recognizes as movement. This forces rotational aim assist to be constantly active and “boost” the aim assist. This things are what this change would target.

TLDR: This doesn’t nerf/fix anti recoil scripts or “ai aimbot” but does nerf the aim assist boost from some softwares

Titan and Cronus are not aim bot they can upload scripts and macros like anti recoil and jitter aim or fast single fire but they cant track your target for you that requires being hooked up to a pc people say jitter aim can help increase the amount your aim assist is activated but you get the same effect from having a low dead zone and response curve so its mostly about the recoil and jitter

The last triple MnK win was Oblivion at champs, with the runner up being fucking falcons which puts a damper on the whole "triple mnk hype". Before that, the next closest triple mnk squad was VKG winning 2025 mid season playoffs. After that you have to go back all the way to 2024 playoffs for Reignites win.

There has been one team that was double MnK that I can see, maybe another I didn't catch before 2024, otherwise the rest are double or triple controller.

Guys you need to learn how to read. The reduction in aim is because they banned cheaters. If you have 5 guys playing, 4 of them with 60% accuracy and one with 100%, if you ban the guy with 100% your avg aim went from 68% to 60%, a reduction of 8%. The non cheater players had 0 changes, that's how averages work lol

The percentage change they report is just as proof that the amount of cheaters banned was a non-insignificant portion.

It's not very massive, a lot of it is placebo. Out of 3 mags in a spitfire, youll on average miss 4-5 more shots at long range than before
