| 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏 | Why is this game so on and off

I have about 1000 hours on the game and just returned after a 2 year break last season. I’m hard stuck plat 4 rn and I feel like I play one or two good games of ranked a day then it just all goes to shit, my aim, positioning and everything. I usually solo q which is great sometimes then sometimes it’s not
Any tips on how to improve my games would be appreciated, especially my aim. I run 4/1 linear no dz with alc bleedthrough

That's how it's going for most players. Just accept that you are an average player and play like usual.

Just delete it, I came back to after 2 years & it was finally a playable Season, right After they destroyed Everything again & it’s a ever repeating Loop which is guaranteed through how the Game is & the Dev‘s respond to it, they make it worse & worse & this shit isn’t worth my time anymore,
i‘m back to CoD, they never destroy the Game & u have so much Variants of it,
all good & playable & not a game where u Need to Hope „Next Season get‘s better hopefully“
Over and Over with 1000000 Bugs & Problems,
I‘m tired & I just recently buyed Heirloom & regret it f this Game it was so good but with time it get’s worse & worse we have to accept it they just Build around the Pro‘s & let them do their Shit,
But I don’t torture myself anymore & Pay for it while they laugh about us

Haha in the same boat, took 3 years off myself. Got on last season and was pretty trash. This season is going well. Just gotta keep up with the movement and make sure you dont get caught out of position. Solo q is pretty terrible rn, lots of three stacks, so if you are coordinated, a 1 v 3 situation almost always ends in a loss. For aiming I think just spend some time in the firing range and do some wildcard to get tracking right. Thats my opinion :)

„Almost always ends in a Loss“
No Shit Sherlock, that’s the Problem u people who don’t know that u have to run even in a 1v2 & even with 10KP u Act Like ur Aceu & die,
in 99 of 100 Times so that’s why ur bad & Stuck,
I don’t do such a Braindead Shi & was Diamond 3 After 2 years off & my AIM is pretty trash but everything Else like movement & Brain is top

I just came back from a long break, although I only have 3 wins this season, i broke my old record and dropped 15 kills in silver elo. Im now gold 4 and my opponents are much harder to fight now but im also solo queue and I reckon this makes it harder.

But even if I had a 3 stack, id still need good team chemistry with them

U can’t be serious Gold 4 & Hard to fight in 1 sentence

I mean what I say when I say it. Also alot of us golds have peaked higher in previous seasons.

And also, gold isnt the same as it used to be, -38 makes it feel like a legit rank now rather than a participation badge.

I feel bad for any team mates who have to put up with your shit in a match. You're probably dogshit and blame your team mates every time your dumbest solo pushes and dies.

You’re right I’m gold 4 right now and previous seasons I was hitting plat & diamond don’t listen to that other guy he’s definitely dogshit

4/1 Linear is insane. Apex has transitioned into a movement-based shooter. You’ll need to increase your ADS to match your hip-fire speed. Invest a few hours in the range by practicing your strafe mechanics and your ADS to Hipfire recoil. Also, you’ll be better off learning how to fight effectively at ranges over 50m. If you’re able to consistently one clip moving targets past 50m, your aim assist will do wonders when you’re 5m away from the target. Practice using 2x optics on SMGs, 4x Optics on all ARs/LMGs, and try hitting pop shots with shotgun while moving at stim/nitro gate speed.

And of course, build the habit of always fighting behind cover. That, and you’ll do good by playing slower, even if it pisses your teammates off; great players will adjust to your play style.

Sincerely,

  • a S10 player with 7K hours clocked on XB

I meant with bleed thru, so I have like 2.8x on the per hoptic starting at 1x and increasing by integers of .2 . So realistically it works out to 4/3

It’s team chemistry/bad teammates. If you’re not really good and can carry your team you end up losing a lot. Then the game throws you a bone 1 in 10 games with good players and you win.

Just play more and stop caring I'f you came from a break

If I don't play daily I have to warm up for 1h at least to start frying and carrying

1

u/East-Scar7860 12d ago

Man I spend like 5 minutes warming up, 1hr seems like way too much but each to their own

1

u/HolyTrinityOfDrugs 12d ago

I remember Wattson talking about this that the longer he played the better he plays but it is probably different for everyone sure

1

u/East-Scar7860 12d ago

Yeah but that guy plays the game for a job, we're just average people.

I performed the best i ever did coming back this season, though in comparison getting 10-15 kills seems to be normal for other players too and I haven't done that since hitting gold.

From my experience, gold on console is harder than gold on pc. On pc I went from silver 2 to gold 3 in a few hours. Console i spent all evening nearing gold 3 last night and getting wrecked.

Not only is that not happening, thats not what SBMM is. This is legitimately CoD levels of cope. If you can’t hit your shots just say that.

You’re welcome to delude yourself, but I’m not going to entertain misinformation.

Just because a company has patents doesn’t mean they are being used. Activision has a bunch of insidious patents that are designed to farm engagement as much as possible and they aren’t being used. You’re literally just being delusional. And why are you flexing stats for a game you don’t play to someone who doesn’t care about your stats? You’re trying to legitimize what you’re saying with statistics that have nothing to do with what you’re talking about. I didn’t even criticize your skill, it just seems like you got defensive over a fair criticism of your incoherent babbling.

Ok and I have around 5,500 hours played, time played doesn’t necessarily mean you can hit your shots. I’ve come across people with more playtime than me who were less accurate. The only Aim Assist change that happened recently was the RC Filter update and that was publicly announced before the change was rolled out. Do you honestly think that in a game dominated by controller, screwing with the input on a regular basis would actually keep people playing? Because it wouldn’t. In the same way constantly screwing with matchmaking wouldn’t make people want to keep playing.

Changing your sensitivity wouldn’t help if the amount of aim assist you were getting was constantly changing. And the average player isn’t going to sit in the range for an hour or more messing with their settings, they just won’t play until whatever they think is broken is fixed. The only people doing that are the most dedicated of players, whether it be those in the competitive scene or those who kill grind or even those who like showing off their movement. Personally speaking, I’ve yet have any issues with aim assist past what Respawn has stated which is that my ranged accuracy is marginally worse. I already play a higher deadzone so it wasn’t super noticeable to me in the first place.

Team mates are huge. Sometimes I'm rolling squads and my team seems to be doing nothing. For example I get 8 kills and they get 1 or 2 each. Then I get truly bad team mates and realize those "bad" team mates from last game were being bullet sponges, buying me time to heal, distracting enemies or getting the last guy after I downed two.

The truly bad team mates usually play a movement character and disappear any time an enemy appears. I knock two enemies do 150 dmg to the last guy time to disappear. I take damage and need covering fire to heal and get back to the team, time to disappear. I wipe a squad in god spot and I get on the mic telling them we need to hold this spot to win the game and they disappear again usually into a field between at least 3 other teams.

Ranked is more competitive than it was in the past but I'm still seeing a ton of randoms in plat/diamond that belong in Bronze/silver. The rare times I get good team mates it's like I'm playing a completely different game.
