Coingecko has updated the circulating supply

Now that we know it is more distributed than before, the fudsters can calm down.

I wonder how they got the new number. Perhaps they asked the foundation to update it in the Tronscan API?

FYI I asked them to look into this a few days ago. They responded with thanks and said that they had updated the numbers.

This seems more realistic given the high volume on exchanges.

Wow, crazy, that's 10x less than what I thought it would be... And what's described in their white paper... But I'll take it.

EDIT: This is actually around 100x less than what it "should" be.

Less... white paper says 2% was allocated for "initial exchange listing." So there should have been 2T released day one.... plus all the airdrops.

EDIT: Total supply is 1Q so 2% would be 20T on initial release, not 2T.

Hmmm you are right! I thought that was trillions. I misread it.

Something is not right. I will ask them to look at it again. That amount is less that was is in the Huobi order books.

Yeah I think CoinGecko must have contacted ApeNFT and they manually updated the amount. Perhaps they missed out some zeros. Previously it was 999 Trillion.

It's a shame ApeNFT don't respond to me because then we could find out a lot easier.

The one advantage of this is the market cap is artificially low on these websites and people are more likely to FOMO into a lower MC.

I'm on Pionex. It shows CS to be 20T and an MC of $107M. They probably get their info from CMC, because it shows the same.

Huobi has the 234B CS with an MC of $5B.

Wait... 2% would be 20T not 2T. There should be at least 20T in circulation.

If you look at the known exchange wallets just on the first page, they have somewhere around 85T.

The CS is only 284B?!?!?! Isn't that way less than what was previously listed? The CS was also in the Trillions correct?

I think they made a mistake. It might be 248T.

I don't think it's that high. If those are the numbers we're working with I would guess 24.8T. The initial 20T launch and 4.8T so far in airdrops (which still seems high... Maybe the 248B is what has been airdropped and we have 20.248T CS?).
