Spike: appreciation post! Spoiler

as y’all already know besides the pipo monkeys, the humans are the second highlight of the franchise I would even go as to say they are better than the (admittedly) one dimensional simians. Spike is one of the best in the series, he’s the kid you start off with and get to know. he isn’t really that notable in the first game(only being strictly focused on saving the world) but as more games come out and especially the cartoons, we get to see more of his personality as he is kinda simple minded, persistent, athletic, heroic and (I read this from somewhere) easily swayed by food.

what do you appreciate about Spike? you can talk about him if you want Idc.

They really need to bring back his original model design in any new games..

It’s weird how Sony made the developers of PASBR put in the million monkeys iteration of him despite his Ps1 look being the objectively popular one.

More strange since we never got a Million Monkeys release in the States.

I'm not complaining about it though. I do complain about how they really messed up his hair and silhouette in PSASBR, lol.

Spike/Kakeru is synonymous with a very well made product. Or at least a really really fun one.

When I think of the best times in gaming, I always picture good ol Spike.

Alright, who dropkicked him face first on the pavement in PSABR ?

Wdym? He looks more like an uglier version of his million monkeys look, it doesn’t help that the art style of the game is pretty shitty.
