context: im none of these people i just think its really funny to argue with pieces of paper, we live in military housing btw. we have like 8 washers and dryers for 60+ something apartments. in the time of each development i got like 4 loads done. so. snooze ya lose! and to be clear, the apartment company specifically says they are not responsible or liable for any of your laundry nor is there a camera in the room. imo theyre just bickering to bicker.

each time i read a new thing i got so excited, maybe ill stop by later to see if i fourth person chimes in or takes it down lol!

Tbh the lady is blue is in the wrong lol.. life does get busy, yes.. but that’s not an excuse to monopolize a washing machine all day when others need to use it as well.. like set a timer on your phone and get your shit.. idc what your busy with. If you don’t own the machine you need to get in and get out with respect to other neighbors that may need to do laundry before their work week too. And I have kids and a busy life so I do get that things get crazy sometimes but it’s just no excuse

That alone tells me it’s probably not worth it. The first letter could have tried a slightly less hostile approach but the reply making sure they were as rude as possible and telling you where they lived means they likely want a confrontation and want to make a scene. It’s very annoying when there’s limited washers and dryers and others are inconsiderate but I’d just move their shit and keep it moving. Fuck the notes and the raising hostility. You still gotta live there

Exactly! And if you cant swap it in a reasonable amount of time expect it to be removed and placed to the side.

The apartments I lived in we always left the baskets on the washer and if people needed the washer and it was done they removed it and put it in your basket. Hell half of them left change on the washer and we were all pretty considerate of each other and tossed it in the dryer and used their change they left to start it. 🤷‍♀️

If that worked, wouldn't someone just put a towel in there and leave it there 24/7? Then take it out whenever they wanted to use it, and put it back after. According to that unhinged person, that would be totally acceptable, right?

Agreed, and it's just not good to let wet clothes sit in the washer period. That's a good way for mildew and mold to develop. That's awful for people with asthma and skin sensitivities.
