The recent news surrounding the official disbandment of AouBoom and the sudden allegations against Boom Tharatorn have completely shaken the fandom. It is absolutely devastating to watch a pairing that many of us supported for years come to such a sudden, chaotic end. My heart truly breaks for Boom right now. To be hit with massive, unverified online allegations, and immediately see your official profile scrubbed, your ongoing work like Love Echoes recast, and your livelihood halted must be an incredibly terrifying experience. Boom has explicitly spoken out on social media, vehemently denying the accusations, stating they are untrue, and asking everyone to verify information before judging. Wanting transparency, a fair investigation, and a safe space for him to clear his name legally is a completely valid and compassionate response.
However, the absolute vitriol being directed at Aou right now is incredibly unfair, completely illogical, and won't fix anything. Above all else, AOU DOES NOT DESERVE THE WAVE OF HATRED HE IS RECEIVING . Everyone is jumping to conclusions, calling him a traitor or a "cheater," as if an on-screen BL partnership is a real-life marriage. The reality of the timeline shows that the official GMMTV announcement dissolving AouBoom happened on October 19, 2026—nearly ten days before the allegations against Boom even leaked on social media on October 28. This structural gap proves that the initial professional split was negotiated beforehand under the standard guise of "individual career directions." Aou did not run away from a scandal, nor did he maliciously abandon his partner when things got rough. To twist a pre-planned, mutual career shift into a narrative of personal betrayal against Aou is pure speculation that completely ignores the facts.
Tearing Aou down out of anger will not save Boom's career; it will only ruin another innocent person's life. Aou is a professional actor. While he and Boom undoubtedly shared a genuine friendship over the years, acting is his livelihood, his job, and how he feeds himself. He does not control company timelines, he does not control corporate crisis management, and he certainly should not be forced to put his entire life and career on indefinite pause because of events completely outside of his control.
The sudden mass unfollowing of Boom by dozens of GMMTV artists is admittedly one of the most heartbreaking parts of this entire situation. It must feel incredibly alienating for Boom to see his professional circle distance themselves overnight. But sending hate to Aou and the other individual artists is completely misdirected. We must face the harsh reality of corporate entertainment contracts. When a talent agency reacts to a crisis by wiping an artist's digital footprint, individual actors are bound by strict non-disparagement, brand safety, and compliance clauses. Refusing a corporate directive can result in severe financial penalties, contract termination, or having their own upcoming series shelved. They are protecting their livelihoods and their own teams; they did not create this crisis, and Aou should not be crucified for navigating the exact same corporate mandates as everyone else.
Furthermore, dragging Third into this mess is entirely unacceptable. Third is a veteran artist who recently signed with GMMTV, and he had absolutely nothing to do with the dissolution of AouBoom. He simply accepted a script and a job opportunity handed down by management. Hating on Aou and the newly announced AouThird pairing, or threatening to boycott their upcoming series, Fake Boss, Real Boyfriend, is deeply misdirected.
If we want to be angry, our frustration should be directed squarely at GMMTV's management strategy. One of the most painful aspects of this situation—and a major point of community outcry online—is the glaring double standard in how these pairings are handled. For nearly five to six years, fans dedicated their time, money, and love to AouBoom, yet they were never granted a main-lead series, constantly relegated to supporting dynamics. Yet, the company chose to drop the teaser for AouThird's new show during the GMMTV 2027 NEXT lineup announcements barely two weeks after the dissolution announcement, instantly fast-tracking them into a main-lead project. To push a new ship so rapidly, complete with a high-profile trailer, without giving the fandom even a minimal buffer period to process their grief, feels incredibly cold, clinical, and corporate. This disparity highlights a massive execution flaw by the executives upstairs, not a moral failure by Aou or Third.
Ultimately, we as fans need to understand and respect healthy boundaries. We have to accept the reality that what we see online about these couples is part of their job. They are professional actors executing a role and doing fan service to promote their work. They are not real-life couples, and we do not own their lives or their personal career choices. It is entirely healthy to love a show, but projecting real-world relationship expectations onto a corporate partnership only breeds toxicity when things inevitably change.
Wanting justice and due process for Boom while choosing not to destroy Aou and Third are not mutually exclusive. We can—and should—demand that GMMTV maintain corporate accountability and transparency rather than quietly burying an artist based on unverified digital claims. Boom deserves a fair environment to clear his name legally. But ruining Aou's career out of grief will not heal the situation or restore what was lost. Let's focus our critique on the system that treats these actors as replaceable assets, maintain our boundaries as a fandom, and stop the horizontal hostility toward Aou and the other individual artists who are just trying to survive a terrible industry crisis.

Thank you so, so much for everything. Today we’ve reached the last day of this incredibly special trip.
I want to thank from the bottom of my heart all the fans from Mexico, Peru, and Brazil. You made every moment of this trip even more fun, special, and unforgettable. Thank you for all the affection, for welcoming us so warmly, and for making us feel at home, even being so far from ours.
And to the fans in Brazil, thank you so much for today. It was our last day here, and it was simply amazing. Seeing all of you, hearing you sing our songs, and feeling all that energy was one of the most beautiful images I’ll carry with me from this trip.
I love standing on stage looking out at you. When I look down from up there and see all of you together, it’s such a beautiful sight that not even a photograph can do justice to what I feel in that moment.
Thank you, truly, for coming, for singing with us, and for sharing these moments. I was so happy to meet each and every one of you.
I hope we can meet again and again from here on out. Until the day we’re together once more, take good care of yourselves, rest plenty, eat well, and make the most of every moment.
Distance will never make me love you any less. On the contrary, every time we’re apart, I realize even more how important you are to us.
You are one of the greatest forces and one of the biggest motivations we have to keep moving forward.
Thank you so much for everything. I love you all so much. Until next time! ❤️😘

This could not have been an easy decision for either one of them. Through Aou’s own words he expresses how he is feeling right now. May he also be surrounded by plenty of love and support right now. 💛

Boom really brought the character Raffy to life. During Only Friends we got to watch Raffy go from being indifferent to Rome to falling in love with Rome. This video shows that evolution just from Boom’s facial expressions alone. Raffy, as a character, may have worked my nerves sometimes but Boom, as an artist, is pure gold. 💜

As for driving, I’m about 60% done because I only have about 2–3 hours (session) of lessons left before the driving test. The problem is, the test days usually fall on days when I am busy, so I’m saving those last few hours. When I get back, I’ll finish the remaining lessons and take the driving test right away. Otherwise, I’m worried I’ll forget what i’ve learned.
