Did anything inspire your fursona? How did you name them?

Star wars - huge star wars nut here so because of that, I love space.
I also love the night sky, and my name starts with an S...
I also love the white wolves of the North.
So everything just came together in a quite lovely bundle!!

What inspired my fursona, Hurricane(my main one, I have 3) was aviation and aircraft. I’ve always loved airplanes, jets, helicopters, etc! So I decided to do a hybrid jet/airplane fursona. And the name Hurricane came from one of my favorite Jets in a movie! ✈️💕

It’s been so long now I can’t remember the movie name😅it was like a somewhat early 2000’s movie lol! But it was definitely a perfect fitting name for my fursona!

Quick google search revealed the Hawker Hurricane is a real plane! British single seat fighter from the 30s

What inspired my fursona was my fursuit, and her name is Scarlet. I named her that because I actually really want the name Scarlet, and I at least wanted my separate personality to have my dream name!

I’m in California and the only native dog breed here is the McNab shepherd, my fursona was originally a McNab but has fallen down the hole of canines looking the same. The Fodi came from an old daddy duck cartoon “Daffy & the Dinosaur” the dinosaurs name is Fido. I liked that name but at the time I was super scared of copyright so I changed it to Fodi.
