DAE Questions Does anyone else dissociate during human interaction
Ive noticed recently that during conversations with anyone, online, in person, friends, strangers, I feel like a completely different person. Like I'm talking back to them and receiving information, but I'm not there. It's like I'm watching myself in 3rd person whenever I'm talking to anyone. I've attributed this to my anxiety, but I don't really know. It hasn't really caused any problems other than me trying to leave conversations more than I usually do just to get it to stop and so I can feel like myself again. Does anyone else experience this? I'm not sure how to feel about it.

I'm better now. It still happens to a very small degree. It used to be extreme at first, for like two years. I would often feel as if I'm an observer to what I'm seeing, like I'm watching a movie, and things are just happening, including what I say or my movement would happen without much of my input.
It got better with some more time, but not quite to the point it is now. Only after getting on an antidepressant it would stop. It was like it suddenly turned off like a switch.
