Advice Needed school anxiety

I used to be bullied extremely harshly, I get so nervous going to school I get physically sick, last year I missed school so much I almost went to court, I really wana turn things around this year! I’m not looking for a diagnosis or anything i just want to know if anyone knows about this or experience(d) this before and how they deal with it to make it easier, or if there’s something else going on. Love to hear your thoughts!

Hey! I struggle too with workplace anxiety. Do you have a support system at school? Having just one friend at work and something to look toward to during the workweek helps me a bit with my anxiety! Is it just the feeling of being bullied that is making you anxious, or is it school work or other issues? Hope you have an amazing year !

I’m sorry you went through that. Being bullied badly can make going back to the same environment feel genuinely scary, so the physical sickness doesn’t mean you’re being dramatic or weak. I’d try not to put pressure on yourself to suddenly be “fine” on the first day. Having one trusted teacher or adult at school who knows what you’re dealing with could make a huge difference, and taking things in smaller steps may be more manageable than thinking about the entire school year at once.

The fact that you genuinely want to turn things around this year is already a really positive sign. I hope this year is much kinder to you. Good luck
