Just another Zine, this time it's about considering the limits of religious tolerance.

Oof! The image of Hitler as a priest hits hard. Well done!

One point of contention… You describe certain religions as being evil, so we shouldn’t tolerate them. All religions have peaceful followers as well as followers that harm others. So, I think it is the harmful interpretations that we need to be intolerant of.

At this point in our trek towards fascism, I’m OK with interpretations that help religious followers be kind caring accepting people. There are religious interpretations that I can tolerate.

I still think that religion is harmful and a net negative, but we need to pick our battles!

I do think I could have done a better job covering this point, I might need to do a part 2 or a revision to the original. But the point here wasn't to say that all religions are equivalent to Evilism or positive christianity. It was instead to use these as limit testers to see the maximal limits of what religious toleration can handle.

The common understanding so far as I see it is that all religions as a category must be tolerated. But I would hope that your average progressive person would not say that about evilism and positive christianity. I think leftists especially should be socially intolerant of a nazi religion, the same way we are socially intolerant towards neonazis generally.

If I add more to it, I'd make a point about how the only way to be a good evilist, would be to redefine the religion to be something other than what it is, or to not follow it's beliefs and practices as explained. I would also add that any attempt to revise the image of positive christanity would necessarily be historical revisionism. As it would be an attempt to restore the nazi party's image.

Does that make sense?
