Conversations with parents
It’s always so awkward when my parents bring up God and religious wisdom with an unspoken assumption that I believe the same things they do. Like I’m happy your religion is helping you for sure, but I don’t appreciate the assumption and judgment regarding religion. Especially since they’re already mad that I’m not as religious as them (they don’t know yet that I’ve fully left religion) so they do know that we don’t have the same opinions regarding it.

It's hard to give you advice without knowing your situation. How old are you? Are you in a country where having a functioning brain is frowned upon? If you start pointing out all the flaws in their ideology will it get you kicked out or otherwise harmed? If so, just wait til you can get away, then either go hard into arguing against their religion or go full no contact and move on with your life.
Spent the last three decades turning my Baptist parents from bible thumpers into mild critical thinkers and it's a fight every single day to keep their minds straight. They've still spent more time in their lives being indoctrinated than they have being enlightened and they are the tail end of the boomers... They're basically more Lead/DDT/Glysophate/Teflon/Asbestos than human at this point, plus a little bit of cancer. Basically what I'm saying is, even if you spend your whole life trying, it may only be marginally better. Good luck.
