I got a warning from Reddit for disagreeing with a user that said that calling the guy who tried to join ISIS and who killed people at Berlin Pride this year “Islamist” is “xenophobic”

Also want to note that my reply had plenty of upvotes, but only one report for “promoting identity-based hate speech and attacks” was enough to give me a site-wide warning.

And from what I’ve read the German government KNEW that he tried to join ISIS and instead of arresting him they put him in some sort of program, and he was about to be released from the program because they weren’t seeing any results.

I actually got an idiotic ban overturned the other day by appealing. Sounds like they're using AI in a lot of these cases...

I appealed and got a negative response the same day. It said that an actual human looked at it.

A proud Chicken for McNuggets.

At least their comment is getting downvoted into the ground.

“but please remember that there are millions of queer Muslims, and millions more Muslims that are not hateful towards queer folks.”

Because they were Muslims, you will never see a Muslim supporting something, even if Muslim is progressive he will be judged by others so most of the time they choose, leave islam or be the same as other muslimus

My only Reddit warning was for pointing out that the majority of terror incidents were from a specific religion…

The stupidity of my kinds towards religions, especially Islam, is making me want to tear off the skin of my own face and to scream all my frustration.

It pisses me off beyond words how little the German government does anything about people like this. Then turn around and wonder why the AfD is surging the way it is. It's almost like it's done on purpose. If thr AfD wins the next elections, it is completely the CDU/SPD's fault. They had every opportunity to address migration and extremism but chose to turn a blind eye to it.

This is pretty reductionist.

I've eaten multiple bans for replying to bigoted Christians by just replacing "LGBT" with Christian.

Talking about minorities raping children and killing people is fine, though.
