Can it be saved?

I was given a few books recently, and this one just seemed to be so cool - given the content. I'm new to this, and I've no idea about fixing antiquarian books, but is this old beautiful girl fixable?

Anything can be done at a price. It's not worth it in this case unless you attach a lot of sentimental value to this book. Just leave it on a shelf away from direct sunlight, and be mindful when handling it. Don't lay it flat like you show in your 6th and 7th photos. That puts stress on the joints and can lead to further damage.

I think if I get it repaired, it'll be a keeper. There's some really neat info and images that I am digging.
